Is it a big deal to ask for separate checks if there are only two of you? (Relatives, but not immediate family, sharing a room/MYW w/Dining package.) We are both on the DDP, but it would be easier if we could each pay for our tips and OOP items like alcoholic drinks separately.

I wouldn't think it would be a big deal. I would tell the server up front so they won't have to redo the ticket.

No, I wouldn't think it would be a big deal at all. Just make sure to tell your server as soon as you arrive so they don't have to do the check over again. When I go to resturants normally around home I always get a separate check when I'm with my friends it makes everything easier and the servers never seem to have a problem doing so!

I don't think it's a big deal if you are letting them know in advance. We will be asking for seoerate checks for 3 families in December. I plan to let the know in advance of placing orders.

I do it all the time. It's no big deal at all.

If there are only two people, and they are clearly not a couple, a good server will ask if it's separate checks before he/she even prints the ticket.
