Sent paypal payment to wrong address...

Yesterday I made a mistake and mistyped the recipient's name. I have contacted the person who received the payment in error asking for a refund, but have not heard anything back. She has received the payment because I can't cancel it. Granted it's only $18...but still. Will I have any luck if I contact Paypal?

You should be able to dispute the payment right away. I would contact paypal immediately.

I did this last year accidently too. I disputed it and they refunded my money after giving the person time to respond.

I went online to see if I could resolve it that way, but it says because the transaction is complete it can't be refunded. Do I need to call or is there another way to contact them online?

In Paypal

Go to the page of the payment transaction detail.
Scroll to the bottom of the page.
At the bottom of the page it should say some thing like:

"You can report a transaction problem in the Resolution Center within 45 days of this payment. Have a problem with this transaction? Click here to resolve"

Click on the Click Here to Resolve and follow the instructions.
