Yes! I looked at myself in the mirror this morning, while getting ready for another day at my boutique, and my sweet DH cam up from behind me and whispered in my ear....
"Honey, you are the most beautiful woman in the world!"
and "I'm sooo lucky to still have you with us and you're doing such a wonderful job with the store and getting back into life!"

Gave me a long kiss and headed out for his morning run.:earsboy:

That man has stuck with me, thru thin and fat, thru sickness
(ranging from cancer to taking care of me with the stomach flu)and health......
and he thinks that I'm still beautiful!

I am!
And so are all of ya'll here!

Look in the mirror today and tell yourself how beautiful and pretty you are!
Look really deep into your eyes and see the love that God puts into making each one of us.

Just had to share this with ya'll today!:sunny:

:) from a man's point of view, I think your man rocks! Tell him I said he's the best!:)

Very nice, inspirational post Bambi Tamby!!

Sounds like your DH and mine were cut from the same cloth! :)

Mine has loved me through everything too.

I do like what I'm seeing in the mirror more and more these days, since I've lost almost 40 pounds. :teeth:

That is a great story....unfortunately if my dh said that to me I'd turn around and ask him what he wants. ;)

What a day brightener this thread has been! :sunny:

Thanks for sharing it with us!

"Beauty comes from within . . ."

Very nice (and NICE to see you again!) BT!

What a great story and a lovely DH! Mine is the same way, although most of the time lately I really don't like what I see in the mirror! I need to lose about 30+ pounds!

Mine looks at me in the mirror while I'm getting ready for work, etc and tells me how beautiful I am & how much he loves me. I have to stop and let his words sink in-he's not just saying it, he really means it. I can't believe I have one that really treats me like that. I'm so lucky!!! Of course I look back in the mirror at myself and say "you've got to be kiddin' me" when I see me with no makeup on, hair not fixed, fat rolls, etc. Glad he doesn't see me through my eyes!!! :p

You have some nerve - you not only looked in the mirror but you are actually telling us about it? ;) Your husband definitely sounds like a keeper. I don't think there is anything better in this world than true, unconditional love. :D

What a lucky woman you are....I know that there are quite a few jealous women out here.....

What a lucky lady to have such a wonderful man!

I got this email, and it in a way falls into this same category, and gives perspective on thoughts:

Happiness... in your mind

The 92-year-old, petite, well-poised and proud lady,
who is fully dressed each morning by eight o'clock,
with her hair fashionably coifed and makeup
perfectly applied, even though she is legally blind,
moved to a nursing home today. Her husband of 70
years recently passed away, making the move
necessary.

After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of
the nursing home, she smiled sweetly when told
her room was ready. As she maneuvered her
walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description
of her tiny room, including the eyelet sheets that had
been hung on her window. "I love it," she stated with
the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having just been
presented with a new puppy.

"Mrs.. Jones, you haven't seen the room .... just
wait."

"That doesn't have anything to do with it," she
replied. "Happiness is something you decide on
ahead of time. Whether I like my room or not
doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged...
it's how I arrange my mind. I already decided to
love it "It's a decision I make every morning
when I wake up. I have a choice; I can spend the
day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the
parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of
bed and be thankful for the ones that do. Each day
is a gift, and as long as my eyes open I'll focus on
the new day and all the happy memories I've stored
away ... just for this time in my life.

Old age is like a bank account ... you withdraw from
what you've put in .. So, my advice to you would be
to deposit a lot of happiness in the bank account
of memories. Thank you for your part in filling my
Memory bank. I am still depositing. Remember the
five simple rules to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.
