Senior Frogs!
It is a restaurant / bar chain that I beleive was started in Mexico. If you ask for Senior Sapos the taxi drivers will smile and take you straight to them ( sapo is spanish for frog ).
They typically have a seafood based menu, food is generally well prepared and from my recollection ( hazy at best ) pretty good, the food items are sanitized before they are served / prepared so North Americans usually can eat there with no risk.
The one where I have spent the most time is in Mazatlan, they share the premises with a version of the Shrimp Bucket / Factory chain ( also recommended ).
They cater to gringos and well to do locals, dancing on the tables is encouraged.
One night while I was there the "Bandido" was making his rounds, he wears two criss crossed bandeliers (? ammo belts ) that hold shot glasses, in his holsters are bottles of Cuervo Tradicional and Squirt ( midwestern version of 7-Up). Slammers were a buck each, buckets of Coronas - 3$.
The bar action is usualyy pretty wild, the best one I've seen is where 2 guys are walking around the bar with "Indian pumps" which is the brand name of a metal shelled, backpack mounted, hand pumped sprayer used in forestry and landscaping.
The other guy was carrying a sheet, he would sneak up behind someone ( you could pay them to do it, couple of bucks ) throw the sheet around the persons body, covering their shirt, and the other guy would open up on the victim, shooting a stream of Pina Colada or Maragarita at the victims mouth.
Woe be the one who resisted, cuz they won't stop until you open up and get a mouthfull.
Fore warned is Fore armed.
There is little to no enforcement of age restrictions in Mexico or the Carribean, so letting the DCs go to these places alone is not recommended.
