Senioritis

Hey Guys, with graduation on the horizon (for some, myself included; class of 08!) I find it increasingly difficult at school. I've gone everyday so far this year, I dont have an attendance problem, but Im just so ready to graduate I can hardly contain myself.

The reason I've been there everyday is because for graduation, we are going to Disney from June 19th to June 30th. I wanna be there, I wanna do well, I wanna go to disney. Thats my motivation, but Im tired at the end of the day and always am sleeping. Im not depressed, im quite the opposite, but it seems school is taking it's toll on me very hard this year. I've taken all the classes that really interested me in my previous years, this year im just taking "filler" courses.

So what I really am looking at here is the end result, graduation . Walking the stage at the end of my high school career and the start of my future. I am curious however if any other students are having "Senioritis" as we are having it here.

I know exactly how you feel, I just graduated (this time last week actualy) and now all I have left are my TEE exams and then we get leavers which is going to be fun (no disneyland though).

It's well worth it in the end, just keep your head down and study hard...but dont forget to have fun, I think this past year has been the best ever (I think I'm a bit biased though because I went to eurodisney this year [my first ever disney park ]) goodluck with it, you'll be fine!

That feeling is awful!!! I actually started getting it as a sophomore and it just got worse from there. Hang in there, you're almost don't with the first semester!!!

Wow. I am looking forward to my Senior year (Im a freshman right now) but I know how you have to take classes just to take classes in your senior year. Good Luck.

lol i had a really bad case of senioritis last year..... i dont think i did anything at all that year >_< ... the best part was that the teachers didnt care, so it was all good.. ejoy it while it lasts lol.. you dont really need to get good grades senior year.. just pass with Cs or higher and youll be good to go for college lol

I've had Senioritis since I was a Junior! I'm taking A LOT of college prep classes and tech classes. Here's my schedule
1st hr Multimedia
2nd hr JILG (Jobs for IL Graduates)
3rd hr Info Processing 2
LUNCH
4th hr Info Technology 2
5th hr Concert Choir
6th hr PE
7th hr Rhetoric/English 5
Kind of a nightmare but I NEVER have homework!
