I think my kid does.;) :teacher:

All of a sudden, she HATES school. Almost every class is terrible. The teachers are morons. The freshman act like idiots. The drama queens are getting more dramatic.

She has a countdown on our kitchen chalkboard. It's now 88 Days To Graduation.:lmao:

I've often heard of "Senioritis", but now I'm living the dream.:scared:

I remember having senioritis in high school--i just didnt want to do anything!

Im a senior in college and i am so ready to be done!

Yep, DD had it last year. Watch out! It gets worse along with their decision making abilities.

I definitely had senioritis in high school. I went to a performing arts high school and I had dance classes every morning. I started skipping three times a week witha bunch of people and going out to breakfast instead of ballet. The teacher knew we were skipping, but she sor of pretended not to realize it.

My class had about 5 senior skip days (none of which were allowed, but what were they to do when you had like 3 seniors out of 70 show up and parents were covering for their kids:lmao: ?), which included unauthroized trips to Atlantic City, Dorney Park, local mall, and a few other random places (bowling, pool hall). I had a blast senior year.

To be fair, my last two years of high school were very hard. That was when I switched to the performing arts high school and they were very strict. We had much harder graduation requirments, which included doing a graduation project with paper- mine was 22 pages, along with many hours of junior andsenior internships. The lat month was well deserved.

I thought you were speaking Spanish to us.:rotfl: I guess I have this to look forward to next year.

:rotfl: That would be SENORITAITIS.:lmao:

And yes, start preparing now. It's like your kid turns into some kind of self-proclaimed higher power right before your very eyes.

And you just want to kill them.

Alright I have to defend all the seniors.;)

High school is not what it was 20+ years ago. Yes the teachers are getting dumber. I have one teacher in perticular that says :headache: "Wait is that right?" at least 7 times a class along with numerous other unteacherly phrases.:sad2:

The freshman do act like idiots- what non-idiot would stop in the middle of the hall and just stand there?

65 Days for me!! Thats including this weeks spring break:) and weekends.( And I only go to school for 3 hours and then I go to tech for 3 hours a week)

Gah 88 days!? I feel for your daughter.

He keeps saying what a joke it is since all they do is watch movies all day. Yeah - I'm sure that is happening in EVERY class. :rolleyes1

We're lucky though. He finishes school on May 11. So, after Easter break he'll only have a few weeks of complaining.

If I recall correctly, he had 8th gradeitis as well.

And to think I get to do this again next year with my daughter! :scared1:

I gurantee at least 69% of his classes are watching movies, this has to do with the moron teachers:rolleyes1

One day you'll look back and realize that these were the best days of your life.

I'm only a sophomor in college now but my friends and I always look back and laugh about all the fun we had SKIPPING the end of senior year, :rotfl:. I have never regretted those days I spent with friends, I think it was necessary for my mantal health.

Just the other day, she told me that her lousy Economics grade doesn't matter at this point. "What are they gonna do? Fail me?";)

My point exactly. ;)

 I remember having senioritis in high school. I was insufferable. Tried to quick school in the middle of the spring semester. I was just so sick of it all. Thankfully, my mom prevailed.

tomorrow it's only 87 days to graduation:goodvibes

My DD has it but she's only a junior, so does she has junioritis?

Maybe it's because she knows she will graduate early (In January) that it is hitting her now. All I hear is how she hates this school and can't wait till she is done with it.

I totally have it and its horrible because I can't. I have 6 classes plus I go to an elementary school for a full day for pre-student teaching so I have no time to spend having fun with friends during the week because I have to worry about all my classes plus teaching!! Of course there is ALWAYS drama too. I went to a huge HS where I graduated w/over 700 in my class and then moved to a small liberal arts catholic college with less than 500 students total so needless to say it seems like i went to college and then high school hahaha. 1 month, 2 wks, and 2 days till graduation!!!! Then all the drama i will have to deal with will be with my kindergarten and 4th grade kids that I will student teach in the fall---hopefully!!! lol

Its been 30 years since I have been a Senior...and I STILL have Senioritis!

:rockband: :dancer: party: :beach:
