Sending to room and Magicbands

When in the parks, we send almost everything we purchase back to the resort. Sadly, it has been 3 years since our last visit.

With our upcoming trip (23 Days! :)) It occurred to me, with the advent of Magicbands, sending a package to your room would potentially be a more efficient process. The linking of resort/reservation information to Magicbands could eliminate having to fill out the "send to resort" form each time you wish to take advantage of this awesome service.

Have they implemented this or something similar? I hope so ...pens are hard to use. ;)
 
Unfortunately, no. I had things sent to my room multiple times during my trip a couple of months ago. And it is still the same long form they need to fill out.:headache:

I also had the pleasure of them having to struggle to find 2 of my packages. One was put in the wrong place at the resort's holding room, another one they were reading my last name wrong, and finally someone thought to ask me what it was. Make sure if they fill out the form, your last name is spelled correctly and legible!
 
Unfortunately the long form is still required but I like where you're going with this!

Just a note for new people who may be reading this, packages can be sent back to your resort but they will not be delivered to your room. You are responsible to pick them up, normally from the shop located at your resort.
