No it did not, WWII ended the great depression...
That's what I was thinking. So what that means is that we need something to put the work force back into place, something urgent. Aside from WWIII, what would do that? There's got to be an answer besides another World War, doesn't there?
Just off the top of my head, what if every single able bodied American that was not working at this time had to work for the government; building roads, building bridges, state parks - plus management, tech,etc for these jobs. Would that even come close?? I have to add: I don't mean stay at home moms or caregivers,etc. I don't EVEN want to start that nightmare of posts...
