In April I will be going to WDW "semi solo". My aunt has a conference and I'm tagging along. This will be my 6th trip (2nd within the last 9 months). I will have mornings and afternoons (wed-sat) to myself. What would you suggest I do? I want to try more adult friendly things (of course I will hit my fave spots, I mean it's WDW, you have to be a kid lol) what could I do where I won't get the awkward "she's alone?" stares lol. Any good restaurant to eat alone? Places or attractions I can appreciate more by myself? I also have only gone to WDW in the summer months. Any advice for an April trip? Thanks in advance!

While my DH attended a conference, I had some nice lunches at Sci Fi and Le Chefs (I was joined by Remy). I made ADRs to be sure of having a place to cool off, and there were never any awkward stares. In fact the servers made a fuss over me. Do whatever you feel like doing. There's no need to feel self-conscious at all. You can take advantage of the single rider line. Have a great time!

I did the backwoods segway tour at the VWL by myself and had a great time.

I just booked a semi solo trip and leave in two weeks. I will be there 2 1/2 days before my DH joins me. I plan to dine at the Rainforest and sit at the bar - there will be a lot of commotion at the bar watching the wait staff work so I won't feel so alone.

I plan to visit the AoA and have lunch one day.

I plan to resort hop and visit CBR and AKL.

I would not worry about the "oh look she is all alone" stare. I myself can't think of ever looking at someone and thinking that. Have FUN

Investigate activities that various internet Disney groups may plan for your visit dates. In fact, WDWCelebrations.com has an event planned for April 20 to 22. I often travel solo and join internet groups and never feel weird, at least you know you all share Disney in common. There are so many Disney websites and podcasts that plan events, something may interest you.
