Semi-formal night

I was wondering if a denim skirt would be dressy enough for semi-formal night. I am 14 y/o.

Well, I wouldn't but it is your trip. I wore a cocktail type dress and my DH and DS"S wore suits. We like to dress up and it adds to the fun for us. I don't know what your denim skirt looks like but, maybe if you wore a dressy top it could work.

I think a denim skirt would be perfect for the non-formal nights in the dining rooms but I'd go a bit dressier for semi-formal night if it were me.

I plan on wearing a 3/4 length lavender (flowery print) flowing dress with spaghetti straps.

It's up to you, but if you want to dress "semi-formally," denim is not typically classified as such.
