This was our 3rd choice but with FD it was our only option to save $800 on our trip.

Tell me the best, the tips and tricks and where a family of 4 (6yr and 4yr olds) should stay to be close to bus but not too far from the playground or pool.

Thank you in advance :) this is our first trip!!

We loved CSR! We have teens but they loved the pool. We were in Casitas 5 and we were near bus stop #2, which is the first stop so we always had a seat. It was a short walk over the bridge to the pool, which was fantastic. We loved the food court and it was so relaxing to stroll around the lake in the evening.

I was very hesitant to stay at CSR last year and almost cancelled and moved to a different resort. I am glad I didn't! We've stayed in every mod except POFQ and a few deluxe DVC properties.

It will definitely be the resort we continue to go back to. IMO, pictures do not do this resort justice. We loved it. We wound up booking a pkg this year with a TA and we were limited in resort choices. In addition, CSR was booked for our trip. We are looking forward to our next stay there. We were in Casitas 5.

We'Ve been to CSR twice as adults, and it was our first choice for our upcoming trip with our kids!! (DS6 and DD4)

We are like you, hoping to get a room that is close to a bus stop, and the pool. Right now, I am looking at possibly Casitas 4 or 5.
8B is also interesting, but is close to the third bus stop.

Last trip, DH and I were in Ranchos 7A, which although it is the furthest from the food court, was great for the bus and quiet pool.

Happy planning!!:)

LOVE CSR!!!

Beautiful resort, each area with a little different theme. Dedicated bus service, very big positive for us. Hot tub is AWESOME!!! Love walking around the lake at night--so pretty. Seems like a deluxe resort to us, shhhh don't tell Disney :thumbsup2

Well I can't give a full report as I only stayed one night to check it out before checking in at the GF. We did eat there. We typically only stay Deluxe and I found CSR to be a charming and beautiful resort. My child came down with an ear infection and I walked him in the stroller for about three hours that night and got to really see the resort. The flowers, fountains, different details and the pool are amazing. The food was also very good and the beds were quite comfortable. I agree pictures can't do it justice. Once you are away from the parking lot I found it to be a little oasis. I have stayed at POFQ which I like and have been to CBR and POR. I love POFQ because of boat to DD, but I recommend CSR to anyone thinking value or moderate. While we are currently hooked on Deluxe I would be very happy spending a week with my family at CSR. Unfortunately we exceed the room occupancy now. It does an excellent job of immersing you in the feeling of being somewhere else in the world. I think you will be quite happy there.
