For those who are very concerned about handing an expensive phone or camera to a total stranger, ask a CM to take the photo. It is usually easy to find a CM who will take your photo and highly doubtful that a CM would grab your phone or camera and run.

Have taken many photos for strangers and asked the same in return over the last few days.
No problems at all, everyone has been great here.
