Just wondering if anyone knows if this will effect any future chances of doing the program or being hired by Disney at all. The classes I wanted to take in the fall are both wait-listed, and I can just head back to school to continue without missing a semester. Let me know! Thanks!

I know of quite a few people who have gotten back into the program later on after self terming, i know you have to wait for a period of time before you can try again.
That being said, I believe you get put on a restricted rehire or no rehire list(i always heard it called being "blacklisted"). I don't remember exactly which list you get on, but like I said, I do know people who self termed who got back in. One of those that did, I met him on these boards, told me to never self term because it was the stupidest thing he'd ever done(i'm paraphrasing, sorry) It's your choice, but I for one wouldn't take the chance.
You could always talk to the people over the program about needing to go home early for school reasons, I know an ICP that I worked with and was sad to see her leave, she had to go home to Japan early because they weren't going to let her go back to school if she didn't come home then. The managers and program officials(cant for the life of me think of what to call them...i just woke up ha ha) were really accommodating.
hope that all made sense, hopefully someone else can also answer and be more help!

I went home early on my CP in 2003 because I had to have surgery back home. I was rehired the following year for part-time food and beverage server without any problem at all.
