Just thought I would ask the disney vets if they know of any self service laundry facilities at any of the onsite resorts.we are going on the mariner of the seas cruise in february and we would like to do the park for a few days either before or after the cruise.unlike the wonder they do not have a laundrymat.after a week on the ship we will definitely need clean clothes.

I know first hand that the Value resorts do... in fact they're usually next to the pools so you can do your laundry while you swim.

I'm trying to remember if CBR (Moderate) had any, but it's been years since I was there. I don't think it did, but I may be mistaken. You could call each resort and ask them if you had a resort you were really looking forward to staying at.

The laundry facilities I would consider "typical". There are a handful of rooms (usually stand-alone buildings near the pools) that have a dozen or so each of washing machines and driers.

All Disney resorts have them. Some -- moderates and value -- have several. They are generally located next to the quiet pools.

Hi - We drop our clothing off at a place that does your laundry for you. They charge by the pound. We have never paid more than $20 for a weeks worth of laundry including heavy jeans and sweatshirts. You drop it off in the morn and pick it up late afternoon or the next morn. It is great!!! With what you would pay for the little packets of soap plus the charges for the wash machines and dryer it isn't much more. Everything is neatly folded and not wrinked. I can't remember the name of the place but it is in the same strip mall that has the steak and shake about 5 minutes away from disney.

AKL has a nice sized laundry facility -- LOTS of dryers, too. Do laundry during the day -- after the parks close things get pretty crowded in there.

I know the Yacht Club has laundry facilities. I used them. It was $2 per load.

We have used the laundry facilities at CBR and AKL. Both were clean and had plenty of washers and dryers. It was always very quiet when we were in there. The AKL even had chairs and a TV, I can't remember if CBR did or not.
