Seizure / Epilepsy Disneyland

Good to note! My preschooler doesn’t drink soda. Plus we have a million food restrictions due to allergy, etc. Cow milk free, GF, soy free, etc
It's just another thing to be aware of -- and it wasn't the sodas per se, but that particular sweetener. (Although dropping soda from her diet didn't hurt her at all!) My friend wasn't thinking that could be related in any way, then her trigger did turn out to be something pretty common in many things in her diet.

We are visiting wdw in December ( from Australia with my daughter’s dance school ) . My 16 yr old son was diagnosed with epilepsy in June. He is medicated and has only had one major seizure . Tiredness seems to be his trigger .. wondering about the rides as the neurologist said NO to any of them with no further explanation .. any information would be a great help ! We have been looking forward to this trip since the start of the year and it’s disappointing for him

This is the DLR board. I would ask this on the WDW board and especially on the disABILITIES! board (where you'll get great help!).

Thanks for all the tips. My sister has photo sensitive epilepsy, controlled with meds, hasnt had a seizure in years and is fine in day to day life. However I know that in the next few years she wants to take my my niece to Disneyland Paris. These tips are something for me to keep in mind to advise her when she does eventually plan the Disneyland Paris trip.
