Hi;
The family wants to do the segway experience at epcot when we go this fall. I notice they state there is a weight limit of 250 lbs. to participate. I am the only one in the family with a problem here. I'm 6' 7" & 260 lbs. Would I get away with just 10 lbs. over the limit? Do they have a scale they make you stand on to verify you are under 250 lbs? Or will I have no choice but to lose about 15-20 lbs?
Thanks

The weight limit is for your safety and the machine's workability. They won't make exceptions any more than the attractions make with height restrictions. With only 10 lbs. to go, just do a bit of dieting and get there. I would believe you could get those 10 to melt away rather fast. :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

DH is close to the weight limit & they never asked nor weighed him when we did the tour at the end of April this year.

We did the tour in April, it was awesome.

Like Leota, DH is close to the weight limit and they did not weigh him. I did not see a scale but also I was not looking for one.

If you could loose 10 lbs., then you would not have to worry about it. But that is a hard thing to do.

This was one of the best things we did on this trip. I highly recommend it. Just remember to keep flexing your knees, and try not to stay stiff. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
