Segway Tour

My DH really wants to do this on our next trip, August, 2005. I have called to try and make reservations, but they are only taking them until December 31, 2004. I missed out on this tour last May, completely booked, and I do not want this to happen again. The CM I spoke to was not all that helpful. She could not tell me when other months would start to be available for booking. Has anyone else had problems booking this tour?

Haven't had problems... but I have to say definately find a way and do it! It is so much fun!!! DH and I actually want to do it again next time we are there.

Patty3 - I'm also waiting for '05 dates to open up for the Segway Tour - taking my DS for his 16th birthday ! - my nephews just did the tour in August and LOVED it !!! CM I spoke with last week hinted that '05 dates should start booking sometime in October. I'll be calling every day until I get my dates booked ! - I want it to be on the morning of his birthday!

My DH and I just took that tour last week and absolutely loved it! I happened to call the tour number yesterday to find out similar information that you are interested in for someone else. The CM I spoke with said currently they are accepting reservations up through the end of this year and in just a couple of weeks they will be accepting reservations for next year. I would say you should probably call them every couple of days just to make sure and as two weeks approach call them maybe every day. Over the next couple of weeks maybe they will eventually be able to tell you a more specific date as to when they will open up the reservations. The CM I spoke with yesterday was very friendly and was trying to be helpful (even though she couldn't pinpoint a specific time). If you get a CM that doesn't seem all that friendly, call back and get a different one; you might have a much better phone experience. Here is the number I called: 407-WDW-TOUR.

We did not have any trouble booking this tour, but then again we went during one of the slowest times of the year. We had originally booked it about 4 months in advance, then due to a postponed vacation because of Hurricane Frances, we had to rebook the Segway tour only 2 weeks in advance and didn't have a problem. For May though, I would definitely try and get the booking as soon as possible!

You can book them 90 days out. I booked my Segway tour on the 90th day out at 9:00 am and got the day I wanted. I always book whatever I want to do at the earliest possible date.

Actually the Segway tour can be booked more than 90 days out. I was under the impression it was 90 days too and then I saw that someone had posted here they booked for July and it was more than 90 days before July. I then tried booking for July also(I was surprising DH with the tour) and I was able to do it, well before 90 days. I dont know if there is an exact time limit or if they just open up all bookings for a certain time span at once, but I definitely booked more than 90 days in advance.
