Has anyone taken the Segway tour? I am thinking about it for me and DH next trip. We will have to go on different days as one of us will be looking after DS. How far in advance can we book?

We have done the segway tour and loved it. We were able to book our tour a year before we did it so you should be able to phone and book now. I don't think you will be able to watch most of the tour though. The 1st hour is inside the training centre and then the 2nd hour around the world showcase which will not be open to the public at that point. You will be able to see your DH when they are driving from the training room to the world showcase.
Have fun, it is a great tour one I will definately do again.

I was only able to book our tour 90 days out last year :confused3

It does book up fast but is well worth it. You wont be able to watch other than to see your DH coming back to the training room. You may be able to see him leave the training room aswell if he isnt booked on the earliest tour which is before the park opens to the public.

I booked about two weeks ago for a mid-May date and all of the tours that day had availability. There is a 15% DVC members discount.

:cheer2: We have just returned from our 2 weeks winter hols first day back yesterday at work, gutted, miles away from la la disney world. It was my husbands birthday, we booked at downtown disney guest services, there was plenty of spaces, all depends on what time of year. We done the tour on a Sunday, was brill, put the tickets on visa card, worked out with lastest exchance rate £44.00 per person. Tour was 2 hours, first 1 hour training and practice 2nd hr was zooming around the world show case, great fun. The segways are a newer model than when we tried last year, much easier to use. Not to be missed!!

How do you go about booking this?
We did the booking at downtown disney market place just because we were around that area, in guest relations within the sports store. However, I believe you can book it at any disney guest relations or there is a telephone number you can ring,:confused3

You can call 001-407 - 939 8687

Cost for the tour is $80 (park admission is NOT included).
