Segway tour - use Epcot backdoor?

I've booked the ST and we'll be staying at BWV. Does anyone know if you can use the backdoor entry to Epcot to get to the location where you meet for the tour (in FW)? I know WS is closed at that time, but I think I've heard you can use this entrance. Does anyone know for sure?

We used the International Gateway entrance from the BCV's to get to our Segway Tour in May. They had a cast member stationed at the ropes by the edge of the promenade with a list of names of people attending the Princess Breakfast. She didn't have a name list for ST, but when we told her where we were going, she just let us pass.

I'll bet by now they have a list for the Segawy Tour as well.

Yes, you can use the back entrance anytime Epcot is open. They block off the bridge to France and let you walk through Canada to FW.

They allow those with an early PS for the Princess Breakfast (at Norway) to enter though the International Gateway, so I don't see why someone who has booked a tour would be denied. Also, there is no Disney transportation from the BWV to the main entrance (you'd have to drive or cab), so again, I don't see how/why they would say no.

Just bring your confirmation and I'm sure you will be allowed to walk through to your tour meeting place. Be sure to allow about 10 - 15 minutes extra if you need to walk to the front on the park.

Yes you can walk through the IG to get to the Segway tour. Make sure you bring a camera. You'll be able to get pictures without anyone else in them I got a picture of me standing behind Spaceship Earth, and some great pictures of Canada and the UK without anyone in them.
