Segway Tour--Big Thumbs Up!

My DH and I did the Segway tour Friday morning and I'll have to say that it was the highlight of our trip. It was so much fun doing something different and so much fun. I didn't embarrass myself and fall off like I thought I would. If any of you are thinking of doing this do it!

we surprised DH with this on our trip this summer and he too had a blast. It was a most definite thumbs up!

Don't forget AP holders get a discount; just mention it when making the reservations and then make sure you take it with you. I believe it was 15% off.

I SO want to do this!! I guess I can call and see if there is availabilty next week when I'm there (yea, when pigs fly LOL). Maybe for my trip in April though. What number did you call to get reservations?

I think that we reserved through the WDW-TOUR number. Won't hurt to give them a call and see if they have any openings. They now have two tour times so maybe you'll get lucky. We did the 8:30 time and were done in time to go to Mission Space and then make it to World Showcase when it opened (first day of F&WF). There is also a 9:30 time, but then you are touring when WS is open to the public (not a big deal, but I preferred not risking the lives of any tourists ). When we were returning through Future World a mother with a young child cut right in front of me (we were close together following our leader like ducks at that point)--she either wanted to get hit or trusted my skill a lot more than I did.

So maybe they will have space for next week. Our friends with passes booked and payed for my DH, I hope he doesn't need the pass to get the discount. I guess we'll see.

Tinkerbell13, I have an AP and got the AP rate for myself and my DH. Same with the Cirque discount.

I got it, I got it!! After thinking I'd have no chance on such short notice, I got the 8:30 10/14 Segway tour with an AP discount for $68.00 per person! Thanks T&B, if I hadn't read the post I probably wouldn't have evn tried for it!
This'll be a great surprise for my Dad!

YES!!! You and your dad will have a wonderful time. Make sure you arrive plenty early. The tour meets at 8:15, but it will take a while to get through the gates since all the people who have princess breakfast ressies will be going through the one open line. They will check for your name before letting you in since the park is not yet open to the public (unless you are there for an early opening day).

Thanks SO MUCH T & B. If it hadn't been for you I never would have attempted this. We're staying at the Swan this time so we'll go in through the International gateway and make our way to Spaceship Earth. We're early risers so that wont be a problem!!
Again, thank you for the reminder and advice. This may be the highlight to our trip!!!

I think it would be better to go through the International gateway (less crowded). I like the Swan--we stayed there a few years ago. The location is so nice and I like walking to Epcot or taking the boat.

Hopefully you and your dad will enjoy the tour as much as we did!
