Segway age limits?

I believe I read somewhere that the minimum age for segway tour was sixteen. Can anyone confirm this? Also how close do they check the age? The next time we return to the world my youngest will just miss sixteen by a few months. I don't want to make plans for something we all couldn't do together. any help would be great---thank you-----sp

you are right, the minimum age is 16, and it states to bring your photo id with you upon check-in for the tour.

We had a 16 year old with us in March. She had to show ID that showed her age and had to have one of her parents present to sign the consent that everyone signs at Guest Services before beginning the tour. (The parent doesn't have to go on the tour, but does have to be present to sign).

DD12 is so disappointed she wants to do this so bad.

We just did a small one here in Baltimore that was 9 and up for a quick 10min ride.
