5 more days until we're there!!! Where is a good place to watch Wishes to get a good view of the fireworks and castle and also see Tinkerbelle fly? My 5 year old is most excited about that!
Thanks!

When she flies, it is toward Tomorrowland. The bridge from the Hub to Tomorrowland would be a decent spot.

Be aware she doesn't always fly, depending on the weather usually. But I'd say your odds of seeing her are pretty good.

My mom LOVES seeing Tinkerbell fly so I have to try timing where we are with being able to see her (we don't stop to watch parades or fireworks).

We saw her fly once from over by BTTM & Splash. Kind of a small green blip, but we knew it was her.

I would definitely try to be closer for your little one to get a great view. During the day, you can see the cable she flys on so I'd scout out potential spots then.

We've seen wishes before so I thought I'd give my just-turned-six daughter a new view by standing on the path towards the tea cups, under where Tinker Bell flies.

She looks up and says, quite loudly, "I seeeeeee.... that's not a fairy. That's a person, like a child or something."

As stated earlier, Tink flies from the castle toward Tomorrowland. During the day you can see her flight path aka wire and you should get a good idea of where you should be standing. The bridge is a good spot (it has benches on the right hand side). If you in the hub get a place in the middle or stand on the right ride of main street.... She doesn't come out right away, she appears about 5 minutes into the show....

If you can get spots (and finances allow), do the dessert party at Tomorrowland Terrace! Tink came within what felt like about 10ft. of us, and looked/waved directly at my 2y/o :)

It might seem a bit more magic and give your kid a better view if you go to the side opposite of tomorrow land to watch... I've been on the tomorrow land bridge and it isn't as good a view seeing her zip above your head, it might even be missed by a young child trying to look almost straight up.

If you move to the other side you will still be able to see her but field of view will be wide enough that it will be easier for a kid to watch and follow her across the sky.

both days we attended the parade in August we got spots up front right before the parade started....everyone sits down in the circle around the statue of Walt...we sat there and i was able to watch her entire flight from start to finish which was really cool...even towards the end she's waving to the crowd as she flies across the magic kingdom...

I also agree with the bridge to Tomorrowland. We watched once from there and Tinkerbell flew almost over our heads. If we stay for the nighttime shows this trip, that's where I plan to be.

Second this!! The bridge from Main St/Cinderella's Castle into Tomorrow land is the best, she literally flies right over this area (your heads!)

Does Tink fly for the Christmas Fireworks show?
I would love to see her fly, and 13NOV for MVMCP is my next visit. :lovestruc

I second this question. We booked the Wishes Dessert party last May and wouldn't you know it, the wind was too high so she didn't fly! I'm hoping we get to see her in December. Does she wear Christmas lights instead?

I also vote for the bridge from Tomorrowland. We stood there on our honeymoon in August (pretty much right across from where the dessert party is held) and had a fantastic view of Tink. She practically flew right over us!

You might not want to be TOO close with little ones. It could spoil the magic. Last trip, we were standing near Tomorrowland Terrace. As Tink flew right over our heads, a teenager proclaimed loudly, "Hey... that's a DUDE!" :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I agree with the Tomorrowland recs. I've seen her from there and our balcony at the BLT. As long as you're on the left of the castle, (the castle's left), you should see her.

I'm crossing my fingers we can see her fly in March...we must have some bad luck...been to Disney 3x and all 3x it was too windy for her to fly.

Last October we were in front of the castle to the left and had a GREAT view of Tinkerbell flying.....I guess it wasn't too close cause we couldn't tell if it was a "dude" or not ;).

I love to watch from the south side of the rose garden, southwest of the hub. Start from the hub, like you're going to Tomorrowland, but turn right at the little pathway that branches off just before the bridge. You can usually get a good view of both Tink and the fireworks there without having to secure your spot an hour ahead of time. Only minor hitch is that it's not great for sitting down (much better to stand), but the tradeoff is great since there's a fence to lean on and it prevents anyone from squeezing in to stand in front of you. It's great for anyone over three feet tall.

when we were last at the MVMCP in 2005 she did fly during the party fireworks...
