My DD3 loves Johnny and the Sprites. Unfortunately they are there right before we arrive. We arrive Oct 20 with plans to go to AK on Oct 21. Johnny + the Sprites are at MGM on 18-21. I am wondering if anyone has past experience with going in to see them at the last minute. I am thinking of leaving a bit early so that we can arrive on the am of the 20 and then go over in the afternoon to see them. Were there any tickets left in the afternnon last year? Was it packed? Is there a way to find out before going in if there are tickets left? I don't want to burn a day since it would be the only thing we are going in for. I can't really change the 21st to an MGM day as it woulf mess up our whole week. HELP!

I didn't see Johnny and the sprites but I did see the Wiggles and did not think that it was that crowded.

Where did you see the schedule for this year?

We saw Johnny & the Sprites last year and it was not crowded at all - the theater was only about 1/4 - 1/3 full and they were giving away the tickets at showtime and still couldn't fill it. Maybe you could just hop over to MGM in the morning of the 21st to see the first show and then finish out your day at AK as planned? The show was great and definitely worth attending.

We went to see Johnny and the Sprites last time as well. We went to 4 shows on two different days. My sister in law is in love with Johnny from his Broadway days and brought my son so "she" could see him...although my son enjoyed it as well. Anyway, we didn't have a problem getting into any of the shows. As mentioned they gave us tickets, but never even looked at them when we arrived. The theater was not full and people were being admitted as they walked up. We were lucky (or she was crazy stalker..I am not sure ;) ) and we actually ran into Johnny in the park after the shows as well. It was a lot of fun, definetly go if you can, the show was very well done.

We plan to try to see them this year... I would just keep in mind that they are probably much more popular this year vs last... last year at this time they had just introduced Johnny on Playhouse Disney and it was only a 5 min filler show. This year it's a full 1/2 hour show... so it may be more crouded than last year.

Good luck!

Anyone know the show times?? I thought I saw it somewhere, but now I can't find it.

They have not released the show times or locations yet. When they do, the information will be available at the above link that thunderbug548 provided.
