I checked the first recommended thread down below, and some folks mentioned that there's no more toe fungus ads.

There's supposed to be resolved performance issues too, but I haven't noticed any differences.

Push notifications mean that your app will get a red circle with a number in it (possibly) when you are mentioned, or quoted on the boards. The circle will remain until you open the app and acknowledge your mention.

I denied it multiple times and it kept coming back every time I returned to the Dis. I accepted it to make it go away.

I don't think we give the mods enough credit. Having hosted forums (multiple) in the past, from phpBB to Vanilla, I know how picky online software like the DIS can be. Then you need to guard them against spam and viruses. And THEN you need to play police - keeping members on your forums in check and sorting out disputes.

It can be a nightmare. I really bow to the DIS mods and webmasters.

I just realized the join date does not show now in the posts under the user names. I have noticed so many Earning My Ears folks posting their first posts with nothing but negative, I hate Disney themes.
