I'll be there that night...the last time I saw "Wishes" I made a wish that I would soon have a baby of my own to take to Disney. This upcoming trip will be our first trip with our 18 month old son. <3

Okay, this almost made me cry. My husband and I are currently going through fertility treatments to get pregnant. I take my ovidrel trigger shot tonight. Tomorrow night we're going for one last viewing of Wishes. I chose the date specifically, and yes, I will definitely be making a wish.

I wish you luck! My husband and I got engaged right after watching Wishes, then watched Wishes with our families the night before our Disney wedding. I went through fertility treatments too and always wished for a baby during Wishes. Our daughter is now turning 3! We are going through treatments again for a second child. After two more failed IVFs, we are on our final attempt. I'll be there the final showing of Wishes, wishing that this last chance will be successful.

Im so sad we're gong to miss it but I can promise you we will be watching it online.

Wishes is our favorite and I made this video from our trip last May and had to include it some kind of way. I've set the video to start playing at the part that includes Wishes but feel free to watch the entire thing.

Our daughter had wished she would lose her first tooth while we were at WDW. One day, we get off of Mine Train and are walking over to Splash Mnt and after biting into an apple (the irony of just getting off of a Snow White theamed ride) there it went. Right there in Fantasyland between the carousel and Pinocchio Village Haus. We rushed into Pinocchio Village Haus (which was serving breakfast at that time) to get some napkins for the blood and the CMs were absolutely wonderful. They gave us each paper FPs, brought my daughter a pastry that said "Congratulations" and made sure to tell us that Tinkerbell subbed for the Tooth Fairy for all the boys and girls who lost a tooth while at WDW. Then, one recommended to go to City Hall for some $1 coins.

Next week, “Wishes” will have its last performance at the Magic Kingdom on the evening of Thursday May 11th and “Happily Ever After” will debut the next night on May 12th. In order to accommodate larger crowd levels expected for the final/first shows, Disney is adding additional viewing areas for fireworks over the next few days.


To accommodate the additional guests, Disney is opening up an a viewing area in the cast member parking lot located next to the Main Street bypass (behind Tomorrowland) on May 6th, 11th, 12th, and 13th. The backstage bypass between Main Street and Adventureland may also be opened to guests if the crowd levels are high enough.

A little off topic but if you get time head to Wilderness Lodge. The little part inside the lodge with the bridge over the water...many people I know have thrown a coin in and made a baby wish...and it seems to have worked! Good luck!!

Two years ago, during a break from treatment, we took a trip and during Wishes I wished so hard for our baby. This year we took our IVF baby to see Wishes & it was so special. Makes my heart sad to see it go. Good luck to you! Hopefully you'll be taking your baby to see the new show before you know it!

My wife and I watched Wishes for the first time during our honeymoon nearly 8 years ago. We're sad to see it go because it's a part of our life. My wife is not nearly the Disney fan that am but she has always told me that Wishes is her favorite show. We'll just have to enjoy it from home one last time.

Thanks everyone for your great stories! I made my wish on Friday (we had to change days because of the weather). I still have ten more days until I can take a test. I'll be doing that on a Disney cruise while docking at Castaway Cay, so hopefully that will give me more pixie dust.
