See Electric Pageant from boat to FW from MK

With MK closing at 9pm, and the Electric Pageant going by FW at 9:45pm. Is there a chance we will see the electric pageant from the boat? Or do they stop the boats from MK while the pageant is going by?

This is our one-and-done trip, and I don't want to miss anything.

The EWP starts over by MK and Grand Floridian. It is docked in the canal between those two. Depending on when you get on the boat leaving MK, you can definitely see the parade. We have a number of times.

It will be nice if we accidentally see it while taking the boat after closing out MK.

Its not that great from the disney world dock area. They stop the boats. And you wait for it to pass. Its way better to be before the parade and watch it from the beach.

Yes if the EWP is in the Bay Lake Resort area (WL and FW) the boats commuting from WDW to the Fort will hang back to allow the show to occur in front of the WL and also a few minutes later in front of the FW dock (been on the boat far away, can't hear anything from the rear). So the pass over the road by the Contemporary Resort is where things slow down. But you have to check the times. Me, I want to experience the MK Kiss Goodnight.

So I hope I get back REALLY late.
