Security for internal flights in the us

I'm flying to new York for a few nights then onto Vegas then onto Los Angeles before returning to new York then back home to the uk next march time with my family.
I was just wondering what security is like for the internal flights for a uk citizen ?
Do I just need visa waiver for entry and not for internal travel ?
Also do I only need an address on the visa waiver for the first part of my trips.

Once you're in, you'rein. You travel as any other citizen would. No need to be faffing with immigration. The address you can supply is for the first night of your trip.

The only thing I found was that we couldn't use the kiosks for check in for our internal flights - we had to have help from the check-in staff when we tried

Conversely I've never had any issues with the kiosks, though admittedly haven't flown internally (apart from connections) for a few years.
