Securing a Palo brunch reservation- Do you check the site daily or just wait until embark?

So I booked my cruise last minute and it is approaching fast. Of course I could not secure a reservation for Palo brunch and I have been checking the site every day. I was wondering if it was a lost cause at this point? Has anyone had any luck with a spot opening up before their sail date? It seems that the best course of action is to just get onboard as quickly as possible and hope you can get in line first for those reservation times that were held.

Best course almost certainly is to get on top of the waitlist on embarkation day.

That said, I have OCD about these things and was able to snag one by rechecking the app every few days. It does happen, all luck of the draw that someone just canceled

We usually book last minute cruises (retired) so we never get to book Palo Brunch online as there are never reservations available. I check the site every few days but just book once onboard. Absolutely not a lost cause...if you can get onboard fairly early and line up at the dining changes/Palo booking venue you have a great shot at getting a reservation. They even do waitlists. Only once, with a large party, were we unable to get a Palo brunch once onboard.

I keep forgetting how useful the app is now that they recently did that overhaul. Before you could only see the countdown clock until you got onboard. The app will definitely make it easier for me to check more frequently.

I checked everyday and was successful in finding a cancellation. It was nice to know it was booked and we didn’t have to worry about trying to get it onboard (we were on a 3 day cruise so we only had one chance).

That would definitely be a relief. I will continue to check everyday until something opens up...(hopefully)

Cruised on the Wonder last month. Couldn’t get a Palo brunch ahead of time. Checked the Navigator when we boarded- sign up in Azure lounge. Ate lunch and went to our cabin first so we were certainly not there early, and we were able to get a reservation no problem!

I secured a Palo Brunch for my cruise in two weeks last night. Just check it whenever you have a free couple of minutes.
