That was PIPA, the talking recycling bin. Unfortunately, PIPA "retired" in February and no longer appears.
Wes Palm also has "retired."![]()

Nope.Another Jungle Cruise insider knowledge, if you hear the Jungle skippers yell out
"Clear!" or "We're Clear", or "All Clear"
It means there's a hot girl near by.
(at least that what it used to mean before Jungle Cruise went Co-ed)
Again: Nope.Back when they still had the Head Hunter Salesmen (this summer when we visited he was gone.)
His name was Chief Namee. Because they wrote the script for the ride but couldn't come up with a good name for him so the script read....."Over here we have our friend Chief (name). Today he's offering a special deal....
Skippers just read and memorized it litterally and it became Chief Name'
Again: Nope.
Trader Sam (the character's original name) was renamed Chief Namé in 1996 for the MK's 25th Anniversary. As the story goes, Jungle Skippers were invited to submit entries to rename the character "CHIEF _______." One wise-acre skipper wrote "NAME" in the blank... and was shocked when it won. It's worth mentioning that at Disneyland he's still known as Trader Sam.
The character has been "Trader Sam" at Disneyland long before WDW was even built. Naturally Disney kept the name for WDW's JC.I don't know who's right, but I thought I'd throw that out there just the same!
Nope.
I don't know how long ago you were a skipper... but my friends who currently work at the Jungle Cruise tell me they've never heard this before. Ever. Not to mention that "Clear" is an actual operations term meaning a ride vehicle may be moved safely; using it improperly could have consequences.
EDIT: To be fair, CMs at many attractions do have secret "code words" for attractive guests. No, I won't tell you what my friends and I use.
Again: Nope.

This is true. There are differents songs playing on each "limo." Here's the current list, courtesy of Wikipedia:
Songs heard on each car (Car license plate)
Note: These songs may change due to maintenance or technical reasons. There is no guarantee that a particular track will be playing in the mentioned coaster train.
- 1QKLIMO: "Nine Lives"
- UGOGIRL: "Love in an Elevator" & "Walk This Way"
- BUHBYE: "Young Lust", "F.I.N.E.*" & "Love in a Roller Coaster"
- H8TRFFC: "Back in the Saddle" & "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)"
- 2FAST4U: "Sweet Emotion"
I worked there a few years back, and each limo originally had its own soundtrack. As mentioned, this has changed a bit over the years. I have a rather strange, but funny story connected to this, though.
One way for the cast members working at unload to tell how well we are doing is by the music. If things are going smoothly (meaning the trains aren't backing up in the brake area), you should hear the end of the song as the limo pulls into the unload area. I had a long shift one day, because the Sunset area was open late for a special event for the AK merchandise cast. During conventions, rather than move from position to position, we would just sign up for a spot and stay there all night. I chose unload, which was always a favorite spot. Earlier in the day, I was talking to a guest who clearly recognized me, but I couldn't immediately place this woman's face. She mentioned that "a lot had changed since we worked together." Then it hit me, it was one of my trainees from my Innoventions days, probably seven years back. Of course, the change was that "Jimmy" was now a transgendered female. It was a bit of a shock, but we chatted pleasantly for a moment before it was time for her party to ride, and off they went. That night, the weather turned nasty, so we didn't have very many CM's coming to ride, and we actually went down to only one train running. So for three hours, I got to listen to the end of "Dude Looks Like A Lady" over and over and over, which took on a very new meaning for me that night.

It's one of those stories that sounds too ridiculous to be true, but it is not. I knew "Jimmy" did drag back when we worked together, but to fully commit to gender reassignment is still a pretty big step.
Shortly after that post, I made another post with some requested photos of the hidden Jacks at The Haunted Mansion. Since I am newer here to posting (lurked forever), it said that a moderator would have to approve it before it would end up in the thread. It's been over twelve hours and nothing. Is that normal, or has my post been swallowed whole never to be seen again? Just curious.

I think once your post count increases, your posted pictures will be viewable. If I were you, I'd go post on some random threads to get your count up. I think the magic number is 15 or 20.
