I might be making a wrong assumption here, so apologies if I am....

But...

I think maybe the exchanges need some rules on who can join. Like you need to be a member for X amount of time and have X number of posts before you can join in.

I know it's not 100% in the spirit of the DIS but I can't see many other options.....

You're right Victoria, thankfully this has only happened a couple of times since I've been organising these exchanges (it once happened to me too ), but when it does happen it really bothers me. At the moment I feel like not bothering again with the exchanges, it doesn't take two minutes to let me know that you've got a problem

We all love the exchanged so much, and really appreciate you doing them. But I can 100% appreciate how frustrating it must be for you.

We shouldn't allow the minority to ruin it for the majority. Has everyone else apart from Donna received theirs?
Has the secret sender been on the Dis since the PMs have been sent?
(Would just hate to think someone had died or something and that's maybe why they haven't been back on?)

Ive never taken part (like torsie24 said I feel im still too much of a newbie to be involved so I do agree with her idea of x amount of posts x amount of time on the boards) but I have always enjoyed seeing what everyone got and all the happy pixie dust being sent and received....not your fault mandy you are nothing but awesome

I have just caught up on this thread and if there is no genuine reason then the person should be ashamed. This is a thread where we all trust each qother enough to part with our money and buy a special gift. Its a shame when someone spoils things for everyone else and gives other newbies a bad name.
Many I would feel the same and would feel responsible but its not your fault and im sure donna knows that so pleeeaase dont blame yourself.
I just hope the person comes forward and has a genuine reason so we can all look forward to our next one.

It was my gift that was not recieved. It should have been sent out directly from amazon and for some reason their was an issue. I don't know what it was or why because it says that it should have been there on the 2nd of July at the latest. I just logged in the other day and replied to Mandy and logged back in today assuming that it was just late and my gift had arrived. I am really sorry for any hurt that I caused my recipient and Mandy because you should not stop doing this I should have made it clear that I wouldn't be online.

If my lady wants to email me so I can forward her the amazon details and because she might need to say to them that she didn't get anything my private email is nexttime@hotmail.co.uk

Seeing as you're meant to wrap the present, and include a card, sending it from Amazon isn't the smartest idea.....
