So guess who has to fly to Alabama tomorrow?????

Yes, me.... Going for work and will return on Saturday, my DH is so not happy with all my traveling.

but work is work and they like what I do so I can't complain.

So how is everybody?

Have a safe trip! Sorry you are gone so much. i'm sure it's not easy, but good to know you are needed...nothing like a little job security.
I am hanging in there...ankle is feeling better, but I have stabbing pains in the ball of my foot now. on the upside... WDW or bust in 38 days!!!

38 days I hope you get to feeling better, I never took the scooter but by day 3, I was very tempted

So I started a TR for the F&WF trip, back in May and well it has to included everything up to the F&W.

I have the first three days of Amsterdam in there right now, but I am slow in getting the information in there.

Morning Y'All....

We made it home safe and sound.

Wish I was still on vacation and having a good time...

We are doing ok and viewed my Uncle's memorial on the web, which was nice to be included.

Danielle - Many hugs for you.
T - it was great seeing you again.

Brandi: So sorry for your loss I'm glad you were able to view the memorial on line.

Happy you were able to enjoy F&W and meet up with T.

How was the weekend?? The kids must of been thrilled!! Went to the outlets on Sat.. VB was having 20% off ...

Today was a pretty good day. I woke up determined not to cry, and I did a very good job. One of my friends left me a very sweet card, and I teared up a bit, but I kept it together. My sister and I got together and reminisced, and it was touch and go, but I made it. Yay me, I'm toughening up.

Danielle, I've thought of you, especially when I saw my Mom last weekend. It's hard to talk/remember our loved ones ... but good too... keep our loves one still very much in our lives.

BTW, when I got to school, there was a note from my friend who subbed for me yesterday. Attached was a Maleficent pin that says, "Spinning needles - What's the point?" She said she saw it at a yard sale in Long Beach and thought of me. Should I be flattered or offended?

Take it at face value ... a nice gesture!! It was Disney related after all!

Up at 5:30. Got David off to work, cooked dinner for him to have tonight.
Packed my bag and cleaned up the house.
At 7:30 walked out of the house to catch the shuttle to the train
At 8:52 the 8:47 train arrived
Got to airport at 9:20 and at my gate by 9:30. Security was a breeze this morning.

Hope the rest of my day goes this easy.

Wow, Brandi you can do it all! You are such a good wife No way would I be cleaning the day I have an early flight ... heck I would still be PACKING !! David is lucky!!

Hey, don't say that! Although I know how hard it is to keep up with TRs and threads ...I read much more than I post. Just think if it wasn't for work we all would have plenty of time to DIS! (downside, no money for trips)

well so far so good... My flight was 5 minutes early, the rental car was number one in line and no traffic. Made it to the hotel and my room was ready!

Keeping fingers crossed that this is the trend...

Hi all! Just flying through, as usual.

Danielle & Brandi, I am so sorry for you loss. My friend, who had the many different cancers during the last decade died last week. Her memorial service is this Saturday. She was doing so well after the last round of radiation when it went to her brain. Her PET scan even came back clear. She had a great appitite (sp), had learned to walk again & was up to using a cane. At church that Wed., she was so happy, chatting and moving so freely. Thurs. morning she had a seizure from some lesions on the back of her brain that the radiation had no effect on. by last Tues., she was unresponsive and one of the lesions was bleeding in her brain. She passed last Thurs.

There has been so much death this year, 5 that have been close to me.

Glad to hear that so many are out of their leg "appliances" and are moving forward. Chip as been released to start putting weight on his leg after surgery on the 4th. They had to cut the bone & put it straight, and if anyone wants to see how they take the rod out of a bone, we do have a video! Just let me know.

Also wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my birthday twin! Hope your weather is as good as mine and that your year is going to be great!

More when I can. Miss you guys!
