Rick took the day off from work today, just called me and said he was going to get some breakfast and see about getting in to get his glasses replaced, they broke a couple weeks ago. He has pretty good vision, hardly any correction, BUT his eyes see independently of each other, so wearing his glasses gives him prism's, to make one eye see up slightly and the other down slightly. Without them, he sees two of everything.

Nancy, be sure to text us pics! I need a Disney fix again! Yesterday I watched Disney Dream weddings show for a partial fix. It looked so warm and sunny, which was especially nice to see. I am looking forward to the warmth in May!

T, I love Em's 100 day page, it is terrific! I can't believe we are barely 100 days away from our trip, too! I am so excited!

100 Day is coming up in school. Well Emily has to do a project and put 100 of something on a poster board. Well I came up with 100 mickey heads from Home Depot. And yes I did have 100 laying around I have cut out 40 so far... 60 to go

ok so after the 100 on the poster, how many are left??

Well, he knows now... I took 15 minutes to explain it to him last night... to which he said "well, they knew what I meant!"

Yes, we knew what he meant, but also had fun pointing out his error!

No, but I am looking into the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Cruise for our trip. I am just a little concerned that you just never know with the weather, and it could get darn cold out there. Not sure I want to pay $200 to freeze when i can just wait till we get home and do it for free.

T, I tend to agree, we have enough planned. I do think it would be kinda fun, though, sometime when we had a group there probably. Can you just imagine a bunch of us on the big boat?

Heather, the other iffy thing to me for November would be if the boats were running. I know when we were there in December, there were only a couple days that ANY of the boats were running anywhere, due to the winds/cold.

It's just pure laziness on our part. The dang thing is only about 4' tall. Honestly I keep forgetting about it and the tree is right on top of the TV.

Thanks! I haven't heard if he is able to talk yet. I know when they took the ventilator out it had been atleast 45 days since he had last spoken.

Update on Sambo, now that he's coming along he's really coming along. He is completely off the breathing stuff. He can talk, but his throat is still a little raw. He took 4 steps the other day. His twin has been to see him and they were holding hands. He has lost a lot of the fluid. He is also out of the PICU. Not sure how long before he goes home. He is on a colosopy bag-- something went wrong during one of the surgeries. He will probably have to go back in this summer to get off the bag. Good news is he is starting to pick up some of the characteristics he had before the first transplant. His mom was talking to the dr and said she really thought he was going to die. The dr said as long as we're telling the truth I did too. Thank GOD that there was another plan for Sam. At one time he was on like 45 different meds, that has been drastically cut down too.

Also found out last night I wasn't selected for the nurse's aide class. I was at church when she called, just had gotten dinner there. Went outside to hear. Think I would have been ok after she had told me, but she used the same sounding words & tone that the doc did in the ER telling me about Bill. Kids came out, worried aobut me. No time to recover. After the worship & then the Pastor's words, I so lost it. May have gotten away with it, but I had to grab my jacket to wipe my face during prayer & someone saw me. Was the good sobbing for all that has gone on since Bill died. But what a cleansing! Chip said I still looked rough this morning. But we will see where I am led next!

Today is one month since Bill died by the date. Sat. was one month by the day. Found it hard to write the date earlier without getting a bit emotional. One day at a time, sometimes 1 step at a time.
