So what's the plan for everyone this week? We have a band concert tonight, then Rick has leagues tomorrow, and Catie has orchestra rehearsal followed by bball practice, and Meag and I will be attending the school board meeting, at which they are expected to vote on their crazy "balanced" calendar ideas (they want to change our calendar to reduce the time off in the summer, but NOT increase school days, we do NOT want this).

Then Wednesday the kids have church, which I will skip as usual, since I work late that night. I THINK Thursday night we are homebound, so I'll have a chance to do things like wash clothes... Then Friday we are supposed to be going to my friend Cathi's house.

Sometime this week or so I need to get my laundry room completely cleared out so my father in law and brother in law can come in and help Rick install the water softener and filter that my folks bought us for Christmas...

It was single digits this morning as I was waiting for the train, I am so ready for spring!

It is sick how cold it is out lately. I can handle the snow in winter if its in the 30's not -30's.. ugh

We have hockey practice tonight. Hockey game tomorrow. hockey game on wednesday. Thursday we have gymnastics. Friday Em and I leave for muskegon on a hockey tournament. Nick is going to my mom's and Anthony is going to his buddies house. Busy week.. But thats nothing new here.

Oh....Our Northern DUCK says Hi! She is doing well, but cold up there, just like the rest of us. She isn't here much without a trip to plan, but says hi.

Wow, Brandi! My husband would have a hissy if I managed to keep the tree up this late. Honestly, I want to do like Kelly said and leave it up year round, just change the decorations, but he said NO WAY.

It is WAY too cold for me still, though today they are saying we MIGHT make it up to 32! I am with you, not only am I ready for spring, I wish it were MAY!

My David does not have a hissy about anything! I don't tell him what to do and he does not tell me what to do.

You have to remember that we are second spouses for each other, so we set ground rules before we said "I DO". He gets to do what he wants, as long as he is honest and up front and I do the same.

Honestly we have a wonderful relationship, better than anything I have ever had!

So this morning the weather man tells me as I am getting dressed.... This morning is 20 degrees warmer than yesterday morning.....

My brain says..... who can tell the difference between 5 and 25 degrees when you have 6 layers on and no exposed skin!

This waiting in the elements for a stupid train to take me to work every morning is getting old! I need warmer weather!

Friday = work and leaving early to go to the Newseum and see the Elvis Exhibit

Sunday = Clean house, do laundry, prep meals for the week.

and prepping for vacation..... only 11 days until I am in the Bahamas for 9 days....

Brandi, the dinner sounds yummy, and I am so jealous of people going to warmth. My own mother felt the need to call me on the phone yesterday from my brother's house in Tampa, to say it was 77 degrees. Ugh.

Warm is the best part! It is a cruise that leaves out of Baltimore so I will be cold the first day, and cool the second day and then we hit Miami, then Key West, then Bahamas, and then return home to cold!
