So today is the first day back at work after 3 1/2 weeks away. Today is so not fun already!

I even had to make my own bed this morning and no one turned it down last night and I did not have piece of chocolate on my pillow...

Had a 1 hour 15 minute meeting that had nothing to do with me... I love my job, because it allows me to go on vacation

So far not so fast, just slow and boring...

Those are the worst days...my day totally dragged out yesterday too!

But glad you get to go on vacation! That makes it all worthwhile!

So I leave on Sunday for Orlando, not a trip to WDW but for a conference I have to speak at and present my paper. I am not a big fan of going solo to the parks, but I might need to visit La Cava after my presentation. My APs are still good.

No real story (that I remember) but we all got a kick out o this little guy (or girl) we all thought it just needed a pole and some stripper music....

I see.... In the past I would have said that if it is dancing with a pole that it must be a girl, but after this season of AGT, I have to rethink that....

Glad today has been better. Wish I could say the same for mine. Brian now has the right boot to match my left, and my Dr's office just called to move my appt to get this torture element off back. Sounds like there is a chance he will need surgery too. Looks like Disney isn't happening, unless our luck turns VERY quickly.

Ugh, so sorry about the surgery, Brandi and to hear about you and your hubby's trouble, Heather! And especially sorry to hear about probably having to cancel your trip, that's terrible! If you HAVE to cancel it now, possibly we can talk you into Easter next year? I know T is planning on then, and we did talk about a meet during that time a few months back... that would give a little longer to recuperate and also save up. I can meet there any time (well any weekend is best, have to plan for weekdays since I am working otherwise), so just let me know, and I will be happy to drive up to see everyone.

Brandi, I will be in Orlando this weekend, we are spending the weekend with my sister and going to SeaWorld on Saturday, my kids are SO looking forward to it, especially Meagan who can't wait to see Shamu!

He has beenn dealing with Plantar fascitis (sp?) since April....also has small heel spurs. It isn't healing like they hoped, so now he "got the boot"

Unfortunately, Easter is out, since that is Chris's 1st Communion. We will be looking at Nov 2013 at the earliest, probably. I had mentioned getting a scooter, but Brian won't do that. What stinks the most, is that there IS a slim chance he will be out of the boot and ok by then, but he doesn't go back to the Doc until Oct 12, and our 45 days is on Oct 5. This is the one time we haven't bought trip insurance too....every other time, we have bought it. WAAHHHHH (He is throwing a temper tantrum in this case) Anybody want to join me for tonight???
