I am so pleased that everyone eventually got their Secret Bunny pressies, I thought I'd post a few questions to see how you felt the exchange went. Could you just answer on this thread, then when I know what the majority wants then I'll organise the next one

Q1. If you took part in the Secret Bunny (or Secret Santa) exchange, would you like to take part in the next one ?

Q2. How often would you like the exchanges to take place ?

Q3. Do you think it was better to use Recorded Delivery when sending your gift ?

Q4. Are you happy to keep the cost of the present to £5 ? Or would you like to spend more i.e. £7 or £10 ?

Q5. Are you happy to put suggestions down for presents (ie fave character/or what you collect) as it helps the sender ?

Q6. Here are some ideas for when we could hold Secret Exchanges, let me know if you think they are OK or not and if you can think of any other exchanges that we can do.

June (before everyone has their Summer Holiday)
End September/Beginning October - For an Autumn/Hallowe'en exchange)
End November - Christmas Decoration exchange (in time for putting trees up)

Here are some of my thoughts:-

Q1. I would love to take part in another one.

Q2. 2 –3 times a year.

Q3. Yes – that way I could check that my pressie has been received.

Q4. I would prefer to up the cost as the two exchanges I have participated in I did spend more than £5.

Q5. Yes.

Q6. Halloween exchange sounds fun as does a Christmas decorations exchange.

Q3. Do you think it was better to use Recorded Delivery when sending your gift ? Yes, on a previous SS that I ran and this secret bunny the missing presents were not sent recorded delivery, this leaves no come back for the sender to locate there missing presents.

Q4. Are you happy to keep the cost of the present to £5 ? Or would you like to spend more i.e. £7 or £10 ? I think £7.50 is OK, but happy to go with the majority.

Yes, I would

I think 2/3 times a year is more than enough.

Although I didn't send mine by recorded delivery this time (DH forgot), I do think it's better especially as there have been a couple of occasions where things didn't arrive.

Q4. Are you happy to keep the cost of the present to £5 ? Or would you like to spend more i.e. £7 or £10 ?

Personally, each time we've done the exchange I've spent more than the 'allowed' cost on the present so I would rather the limit was more as I also think these days it's harder to find nice things for less than a fiver. However, if the exchange was done more than 2/3 times a year, I would rather keep the same limit. Either that, or maybe it could be a higher limit at Xmas and then a 'token' gesture at other times?

Yes, I think it's better to give suggestions as you know you will get something you'd like.

I would just like to add that I think it's great that you're going to the trouble of organising all these exchanges Mandy and I do hope that people continue to join in and don't get put off by the odd 'blip' with presents not arriving.

Hmm well I haven't done it before but thought I would put my two pence in!
Price wise I am happy to go with the majority on that but I am willing to spend up to £10! Recorded delivery would be good as that would help stop problems with people not receiving things! I think that themed ones are good and would make it fun to shop for!

Yes so we can trace them back incase they get lost.

I think perhaps £5-7 for the token gifts throughout the year and then £10-15 on christmas.

I think this is a great idea. At least if people dont know you they can find something that you like.

This is only my personal opinion but I think end of November and December is too close together, of course I do respect the fact that you dont have to enter every one. So I would just do the Secret Santa as that is my favorite.

It can end up getting very competitive otherwise, plus I found half the fun tracking down something appropriate withij the price range. I know one exchange I did I got so much stuff I was really mortified someone had spent all that on me and I had not done the same in return
