Ok well 1 I have been thinking well maybe we can stay at pp if the ap7 rate comes out and its diering our time. or two

Ive been reconsedering hojos.
I mean my whole reason i didnt want to try it was the long distince but my son will be in his stroler and ill be in the ECV so..not bad really

then i think well id lose my hot tub in the desert inn room

But if i stayed at hojos id try to get a park view room see fireworks again it was so nice last year.
Desert inn dosnet have rooms that see fireworks at least from what i heard only there viewing deck.
Im so confused what to do. i wont call and cancle desert inn.. but i may call and check hojos. I wrote the lady to becosue i just decied to email ..

But i was wondering what any of my dis friends can say
I know alot of you just love the hojos.
and tho id also lose breakfast- we are ordering from vons or somewhere so id just order some breakfast foods

I haven't stayed at the Desert Inn in years but the last time I did, It was totally fine. We are possibly take a trip at the end of this year and although I really, really want to stay on site, we will either be staying at the Desert Inn or the Park Vue.

JADE. You have a HOT TUB. And you're straight across from the parks. Stay where you are, girl! I love HoJo as much as the next person, but you've got a great rate! Anyway, will the fireworks even be going every night you're there? You should be in the parks for them one night and don't worry about the rest, right?

oh man well i called an at this moment the best rate i could get was 111 and 140 a night. so so far we are staying at desert inn lol

but im still going back and forth one way or another it will be a grate trip

im gona just keep calling and see. I think even with out a view (i mean i dont have a view at desert inn) it would still be good. My son would love the cove play ground thing and if i was able to save money i could do some the things i want to resonbley with out braking the bank. I do want the cake and I do want the photo book after the trip if we can swing it.. if we were to move here and save money then maybe we could so from now on ill be on a mission to see keep calling and see what comes avalibule lol

if not desert inn is still there right, no use in not trying

I'd stay put unless you get a better rate at the Hojo. And I also love the Hojo, but being across the street is fabulous! And if you are saving money, have a hot tub in your room, a free breakfast and again, are right there at the crosswalk, then to me staying put makes sense on all fronts. If you can score a good rate on the Hojo, that might be different. Although you will still be giving up quite a bit if you do switch.

I feel your pain, I was originally (and happily) booked at the BWPPI for my October trip. Then I got the Ent. rate at the Hojo and the new pool is nice, so I switched. But with some hesitation since being at the crosswalk just can't be beat. I should never have let my kids look at those pirate pool photos online, they are now dying to stay there! But I'll be sad when I walk by the BWPPI on my way up to the Hojo after a long day in the parks. I'm even sad to be giving up that free crappy breakfast the BWPPI serves because its FREE after all!

Keep calling but you are a smart lady to keep that Desert Inn reservation.

hehe oh man ya i wont call and cancle desert inn it was just where we booked so long ago to know we had it set..but i always knew as i got closer id call others and see what worked better. heck in beging was gona be staying pp but just cant swing it in less something extra good happens and the ap rate came out to be grate.

but im gona keep trying hojos we would be giving up the brekfest at desert inn yes. and the hot tub lol and sons room and his tv..but that to me is what is worth the extra 40 or 80 a night id save if i got to hojos.. (the big thing is 140 for the first night at desert inn is just to much in my eyes
and the cove looks so fun i think my son would enjoy it better then the indoor pool
idk im crazy i look at so many things.

heck even not having a micro in a standered room if i got for good rate.. idk it just makes more money to spend else where


But we are having a charcter brekfest 3 out 5 morrnings were there and now if we stay at hojos wed do mimis in stead of dennys one of the morrnings..

Now i guess i just call and wait and call again

I know what you mean about waffling between hotels!! I checked on the Hojo discussion board and it does not look like your dates in October have the entertainment rates. They seem to start on October 12 - after gay days and the busier times..... We're lucky because we did get our dates with the entertainment rate. Never stayed at Hojo before, but hoping it's good

Amy&Dan, remember, the new water area at HoJo is NOT a pool. Just a water play area.



Jade, PP and HoJo are just about the same distance from the parks. Just in case you didn't know.


I'd just stay at the Desert Inn. Though I think you need to forget the included b'fast as being a factor in your decision, since you'll be eating elsewhere every day.

I know - how frustrating! They had our August dates listed but when I called in to book them, not available. Now those dates in August are not on the site at all.

Oh well, in August we are staying at GCH instead
