Second Time's the Charm??? A Presidents Week PTR

I meant to post about this last week but I forgot

I'll be wearing glasses to WDW for the first time! I've worn contacts since age 12 but I'm having some eye problems so my eye doctor won't let me wear them for the foreseeable future I miss them so much.

I hate that they are constantly getting dirty plus I'm worried about wearing them on RNRC, EE, ToT, etc....

Anyone ride any of these with glasses?

I have searched the forums a little bit and found mixed responses. I'm thinking I should probably bring an extra pair with me...just in case...

You can't see at all with out them? I wear glasses but when I go to Disney I don't even bother since most of the time I'm wearing sunglasses anyway. Hope you a smooth check in tomorrow and a great trip

P.S. my mom wears glasses and she's wore them on every ride (splash mountain, thunder mountain, Indian Jones, etc) and has never had problems with them!

No I can't see without them. My vision is terrible. I think I'll take them off for RNRC (it's dark in there anyway) and leave them on for everything else. I have prescription sunglasses too.

I just finished!!!!!! In a few hours I'm leaving for my parents' house. I'm going to sleep over there tonight since we'll be waking up at 4am tomorrow! I bought new sneakers this morning and I've been wearing them all day to make sure they're comfy. They're Asics and I loooooooove Asics so I'm sure it won't be a problem.

I also bought a teeny tiny little notepad to write in. I'm excited to write down all the details, I hope I can keep up with it! And I know I'll be taking tons of pictures as well.

The overall crowd level today is a 10 so I've been checking wait times on Lines all day and they are looooooooong. Right now Expedition Everest is 45 min (not too bad), Space Mountain is 80 min, Splash Mountain is 100 min, and Toy Story Mania is 130 min! But I'm armed with touring plans and we're early risers so I think we'll be okay. We'll just have to spend the mornings collecting as many fast passes as possible.

If we do get stuck on super long lines I'll use that time to write in my notebook. And maybe I'll even visit DisBoards from my phone! I told my mom that there are people waiting to hear which thrill rides she goes on!!!

Yay you're there!!!! I know you prob won't read this until into your trip or after your trip, but I hope you're having/had a fantastic time and I can't WAIT to hear all about it!!!! I especially want to know what rides your mom goes on!!

Hello from Pop Century! It's the end of our second day and I'm SO tired so this will be short. It is super crowded but we're having a FABULOUS time. I have a ton of pictures and a ton of notes already.

Already my mom has done two of the five rides I especially wanted her to try! She's doing great! Am I a terrible person if I leave you in suspense and don't say which rides??

Time for bed so we can make rope drop at Animal Kingdom tomorrow. Good night!
