I was just reading my new Universal Studios guide book & it mentions a shop names "second hand rose" were items are disocunted. Have any of you been there? It sounds like a great place for my children to purchase a few items? The book said the items are up to 50% off, so tell me what kind of things can I expect to find there? As if I wasn't already excited enough about going on vacation, now I find out I can bargain shop while I'm there! It's like a dream come true! :hyper:

Its no longer a discount store.

They recently reopened it, and it includes items like candles, and fragrances. It seeme dlike a rather feminine store.

The best part is using the Testers of the fragrances and making yourself smell like Ginger Ale, Sugar Cookie, and Laundromat.

Oh gosh! well, if I can't get a bargain, atleast I can smell like a sugar cookie! Either one works for me!

Belz Outlet Mall on I-drive though, has an awesome Universal discount store, lots of interesting finds there.

I freaked when I went in to @nd Hand Rose Sunday to find it went Bed, Bath & Beyond. You used to be able to pick up some rare finds there. Slacking is right about the Belz store. My daughter has a Dudley Do-Right backpack that she loves. One of the straps broke and I got bloody to the elbow trying to sew it back together. We went in the Belz store and they had the same backpack for $3.

I'll have to try this Outlet store, I just love a good buy! :)

Isn't there a Disney discount store at Belz also?

Yes, Disney has one there as well. I believe its in the same building too! Don't ask me which one though!

On our visit in march the Universal outlet was great whereas the Disney outlet was a rip off due to fact they had tents outside selling loads of Disney stuff 70% off what they were selling in the store we picked up loads of Disney & Universal bargains we even got a carafe and 4 wine wine goblets with IOA logo $3 in total
:jester:

they are in different buildings but we parked in the middle & walked over (a little bridge) to get there.. very close to each other! Hit or miss but when we were there last they had a much better selection than the Universal store.

Totally agre with hit & miss my complaint with Disnet store was we bought same items in their tent outside at 70% off store price which I think is unfair to others who came in a diff entrance and never saw tents:jester:
