Second-guessing myself... BWV or Kidani?

Our home resort is AKV and we stayed in a 2-br savannah view at Kidani in March... LOVED it!! Going back in June. We will have 5 kids with us, ages 9, 11, 12 and two 16-year-olds (one 16-yo is ours and she brings a friend). I think the ROOMS themselves at Kidani are nicer than BWV (extra queen bed, pull-out chair and extra bathroom are nice, but I *think* we can live without them). I really want to stay at BWV. DH and I stayed 2 brief nights in a studio, garden/pool view over the Wyland Gallery, in July (no kids) and really enjoyed the location, etc. I'm thinking the kids will enjoy the location, entertainment, etc. also. What they might not enjoy is the villa itself. The 12-yo would sleep on the pull-out sofa in the 2nd bedroom, the 16-year-olds would share queen bed (girls), and the 9- and 11-yo would share pull-out couch. 9- and 11-yo would share our bathroom while the two teenagers and 12-yo share the other bathroom. See? it's doable, right?

Oh, and another thing to add... while we have the savannah view last time, IF we stayed at Kidani again, we would get the STANDARD view (DH wants to save points so hopefully he and I can sneak away for another kidless trip at some point ;)) As it is now, we have BWV pool/garden view and are waitlisted for standard view. DH REALLY doesn't want to spend the extra points on the pool/garden view! BWV is already more points than Kidani. Now I'm second-guessing myself and wondering if I should've just stuck with the Kidani standard view that we had... :confused3 (the pool/garden view at BWV is 40 more points than the standard view at Kidani.)

If the 40 points were the difference between another trip or not, I would go with AKV. Will you have a vehicle?

There is not a bad choice, and you will find plenty to love about BWV, if you decide to stay there.

I would look at the location, since BWV is hard to beat and decide if this trip you will benefit more from the location or the extra amenities of AKV.

Although I REALLY want to stay at BWV, DH talked me into changing our ressie back to AKV standard view for now and we are wait-listed for BWV standard view. (REALLY hoping that waitlist comes through!!!) Yes, we will have a vehicle. We stayed at Kidani in March and loved it and had no problem getting around, parking was really close, etc. I just really wanted to stay at BWV this time. :sad1:

Extra pixie dust for your waitlist:wizard:

I asked about a vehicle because BWV parking is not as convenient as AKV. I understand about wanting to try other resorts and BWV is a beautiful resort!! Maybe on your Adult only trip, you can get a standard view studio with the points you saved:goodvibes
