Second Fantasmic Show

We were at MGM (now Hollywood Studios) last January and found out that they sometimes run a 2nd Fantasmic show. We just happened to walk by the entranace and heard the show start. When we got down to the amphitheater we were tickled to find it almost empty! We watched what was almost a private show!
We always make a Fantasmic reservation at Hollywood & Vine to make sure we get a good seat, but if they always run the 2nd show, we'll just wait.
Does anyone know if this is always the case? Do they always run a later show on EMH nights?

No they dont, I believe it is usually during busier times of the year. You can check when you go to the disney web site, click on calendar, go to the mgm oops i mean Hollywood Studio calendar then click on the day of the week. it will bring up another page that has all the entertain (parade, fireworks,) scheduled for that park on that day

We where there at the second show on DEC 5th and it was the the first time that I did not see them fill up all the seats.

We also attended a second showing the last week of November. We had the whole side section to ourselves. We got our hot dogs and drinks and spread out, it was great.
