Is the lesser known entrance to universal always open? It is located to the side of the blue man group entrance.

It usually opens when the Hard Rock Cafe opens.

There's a Passholders page on Facebook and they call it the "Secret Entrance". Lots of immature members actually get mad when people talk about it. One even bragged that she turned the sign that pointed it out!

I didn't know it was supposed to be a secret!!! Gosh aren't some people odd.....getting annoyed about that.....

We tried to use it around 9.30am one morning in September and TM told us it would be open around 10-10.30......

I never knew it was a "secret". Which is probably why they do not have it open til Hard Rock opens. Enough people probably know about it that if it was open when the park actually opens @ 9am the line there would probably be as long as one of the turnstiles at the regular entrance. If you go there enough times it doesn't take long to figure it out. It only took me a few times of going to Universal when we first got a pass when I was a teen to notice it.
