Back when we went in 2011, we didn't put much thought into things like autograph books. This time, though, we wanted to help the girls create special memories. They're too shy to strike up a conversation with a character, but they ARE brave enough to approach and hand over a book and pen!

I hate to keep harping about my Pinterest board but I did a search and saw so many cute ideas for making your own autograph book. My MIL does Stampin' Up stamps, and she has an entire room dedicated to this craft. So, naturally, she was the first person I went to. She was happy to help! I took my girls to her house, and we took over the Stampin' Up room to create our autograph books. They didn't turn out as adorable as I'd envisioned, and this is mostly because I let the girls do a lot of it themselves .

I alternated pages so that each character would sign the page, and the opposite page would be a place for a picture. We included personalize pages for each Disney princess, as well as the Fab Five, and many other of my girls' favorites. Here area few shots of what we ended up with.


This one is for Doc McStuffins. There are purple bandaids and purple medicine bottles.

Well I think the autograph books are just wonderful and they are all that more special since the girls did them themselves! I bet the characters are going to comment on what a good job they did!! The trip is getting so close. I know I'm beyond excited at this point!!!

Good idea going to a Stampin Up expert! My sister is good at it so I turn to her for it. I really like the idea of keeping a space for a picture too!

Those autograph books are awesome, your girls did a great job.

We are two weeks out, and so EXCITED!!! Last week, we made our Be Our Guest FP's,



and we got our Magic Bands in the mail. I really wanted to decorate them, and we finally ended up using fingernail polish. This was our final product...



I am hope, hope, hoping to leave a few hours earlier than planned--just because! We'll see .​
