Sebastian's Make A Wish Trip to Disney

So now that we are getting pretty close I have re-worked our itinerary here and there. Based on the Fabulous advice of one Fairy Grandma, new knowledge gleaned from Maroo's trip, Kknowing a little more about how that GAC works and what ADRs we were able to get. Given that we will have the "green stamp" GAC I was able to eliminate a lot of the doubling back :)

I in no way shape or form expect that we will get to do everything on this itinerary. I look at it like a game plan. The only adult ride that we really care if get to ride is Mummy everything else "adult" is totally expendable and will be the first to go if time is running short. This trip is all about Sebastian and Siennah (Savannah's just along for the ride).

It will probably change once more just before we leave when I double check on Steve Soares site that the show times are correct.

So without further ado I present "The Itinerary"...:goodvibes

Looks like a great itinerary, Amber!! As always your attention to detail is amazing. :thumbsup2

I guess we'll see each other at the Birthday Party and Christmas at GKTW. :)

Ok...I thought I was a major planner...you beat me...you got me... :)

Just a couple of thoughts...GREAT JOB!! You definitely have done your homework and know what you want to get accomplished. :thumbsup2

Also...you are an AWESOME photographer!! I can't wait to see your TR pics!

One of the best pieces of advice I received before going on this trip was to stop and breathe. :) I honestly forgot sometimes.

It was hard for me to let things interrupt us...it stressed me out the first day...but we got interrupted from the moment we walked into the park. And the interruptions were the best parts of our trip...CM's stopping us to see characters...an unexpected show...etc (not the "we got sick" part!)

I definitely think that stuff is going to take a little longer than you think. Getting from place to place takes a good amount of time. Figuring out where we were took a good amount of time. :) Parking, walking, etc...a good amt of time...but the lines should be minimal!

We were able to do about 5 - 10 things per day. Depending on the park.

But we also had a lot of stopping with Lauren...get her comfy in her chair...transferring on a ride...rest stops...that lots of folks won't have.

Well, that is about all I can think of for now...Please take good notes...we are hoping we will be going back soon and could use your insight!! :)

I am getting excited for you guys!!!!!!!!!! :)

Maroo, thanks for the great reminders!! You have been such a fountain of knowledge! I think the reason I spend so much effort on planning before a vacation is because I don't want to spend any time "thinking" when I'm actually on vacation.

Thankfully we know our way around the Disney parks really well. I'm not too worried about that. BUT I still don't think we will come close to getting it all "Done"...and really it doesn't matter. My intinerary doesn't account for potty breaks, nursing breaks, change the baby's clothes because she spit up breaks etc....All those little things that will take time.

I think that the "unexpected" magic will throw us off "schedule" too but at least I'll be able to look at the handy dandy itinerary and see which show is soming up next...that sort of thing.

Thanks again and keep the great advice coming!

I've been a mad woman working on getting everything done before the big trip. Yesterday I ordered my Christmas cards since those need to go out before we leave too. Here is a sneak peek just for you, my DIS friends :goodvibes Much love and good tidings to ya'll!

We got mail!!!!!!! The doorbell rang at 6:30 p.m. It was pitch black outside but there on our doorstep was a box of Pixie Dust! It was from a wonderful Disboutiquer named Cathy (twob4him) and her family.

I can not remember being so excited to see what was inside of a box since I was a little kid on Christmas morning. Seriously, my stomach was all aflutter. Inside were three MATCHING outfits for my kids and a set of Toy Story figurines.

Cathy you are incredible! I am so touched by your generosity and I am blown away by your talent. They are just perfect for our Pixar loving kids!!

I have posted some pictures below. I’m sorry the pictures are not the best. It was dark out so I had to use the flash and it was hard to see through the tears pouring down my face.

Are they not the most darling outfits that you have ever seen?

I love the way that Cathy designed the girl’s outfits. It is like two outfits in one! If Savannah spits up on the apron part there’s still another darling shirt underneath!

Brian and I could not stop smiling! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes I was so filled with emotion, even now as I write this. It has been such a TOUGH year that I am so glad we are ending it with smiles…

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU Cathy for brining so much joy to our family! You are wonderful---and I am forever grateful!

p.s. Do you like Sebastian’s hair cut in the photos? I cut it myself for the first time on Sunday night. Trying to save money any way we can.

OMG! TThey are ADORABLE!!! And so are the clothes! :) :) Seriously, you have BEAUTIFUL kiddos! I love Savannah's hair! I think you didd great. Those outfits are wonderful. I'm amazed that they are handmade! What talent!

I LOVE, LOVE ,LOVE those outfits.Way too cute!!! Those darling kiddos of yours are just too cute for words too!

Well it's 9:00 p.m. and I just got back from the Urgent Care.

Sebastian's right ear started hurting him again tonight and by 7:15 p.m. he was jumping up and down SCREAMING in pain. He was begging me to take him to the doctor.

I gave him some of his ear numbing drops and they did nothing. So we decided to go ahead with a doctor tonight.

At least this time we didn't have to go to the ER :) I left the girls home with Brian and we headed off to try and get there before they closed at 8:00 p.m.

We got in really quick given the time of night. I explained that he's been on Amoxicillan, then Augmentin for his cough and then when he got the last ear infection he was on Zithromax and when that didn't work went back on Augmentin...so 40 days of antibiotics! So now he is going on 10 days of Omnicef. C'mon Omincef!!!

Last night Savannah was running a 101.2 fever. She probably has another ear infection too.

Siennah has never stopped with the runny nose.

Will we ever have all three kids healthy at once? Will they be healthy for Disney??....

Okay, I know I keep saying it, but your kids are so photogenic! And that baby's smile is TOOOOO cute! I love the outfits from Cathy! That makes me want to go finish up what I'm working on! :rolleyes1 I love your Christmas card! I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to make my cards or get them made. Where did you get yours done? They look great.

 Poor, poor babies:grouphug:
I hope that you see some light at the end of the tunnel soon.
You have to all be well for Disney!! You have to be!!!

I forgot to say I hope the babes get better soon! Poor Sebastian, ear infections are so painful! My kids always seem to get sick right before a trip, then get better just in time. Okay, your website is giving me a slideshow on my other monitor and I just saw the cutest belly-button picture! :rotfl2:

first of all I'm sorry the kids are sick and sebastian is going through another ear infection. I hope everyone is well before your trip.

The matching outfits are adorable and if it's possible the kids look even more adorable in them. They have best smiles.
