1. Is it worth it to pay the additional $6 for the preferred parking? Does it get you that much closer? If I can save having to walk at the end of the day with my tired dd it would be worth it to me.

2. Are the rides in Happy Harbor okay for adults? My dd is just over the height requirement but I know she will want me to ride. I am what you might call Pooh sized and want to make sure I will fit.

3. Is a dinner at the Sharks underwater Grill worth it at the end of the day? It would just be me and my 5 year old DD.

1. It depends on what time of year your going and what time of day you plan to arrive. If your going to be one of the first cars there in the morning, then there really is no point, since you'll be getting a close spot anyway. But if you plan on coming during a busier time of year such as spring break or summer and plan on arriving around 11 or noon, then yes, I would say its worth it.

2. I would imagine they would allow you to ride. I dont see why they wouldnt.

3. I have never been so I really cant help you on this one. Maybe someone who has been before can offer some input. If you decide against it, there are other dining experiences that you can do. Such as the Luau dinner show. Or maybe the all day dining deal. I would highly recommend the Luau show. Its such an amazing show and even has a kid participation part where they learn a hula. Food is great and they have a kids menu that features chicken tenders, mac and cheese etc.

#2 Adults are allowed on the Happy Harbor rides. DS15 went on all of them with his sister. He is 6'2" and had no troubles. And, in fact, DS15 and I fit together fine on the Shamu coaster when DD decided last second that she wanted to sit with her other brother.

#3 We looked at the prices and decided not to eat there and just go with fast food. So, for us it wasn't worth it, but I don't have firsthand experience on this one. It might seem better to you with just 2 people. Since both our boys eat from adult menus now, 4 adult meals would have cost quite a bit.

1. The car park at SeaWorld is quite compact so as long as you arrive early-ish you shouldn't be parked too far from the entrance so the extra $6 may not be worth it.

2. I have seen adults of all sizes on the rides, so you should be fine.

3. Personally, I love the Sharks Underwater Grill, although it is quite pricey. They serve a lot of seafood but also have a standard kids menu, so it depends on what food you like and how much your willing to pay. The atmosphere is cool in there as the windows in the sharks are huge.

#2 - I separated from DH and DD while they went to Happy Harbor, but from the pictures DH took of DD, there are adults of various sizes on the rides (though DH didn't ride most of them - DD loved the independence at her age).

#3 - We ate at Sharks the night after we ate at Coral Reef in Epcot. For comparison, I thought the food, tank view, tank quality, and service were better at Sharks. I will add that we ate there as part of a tour, so price wasn't a concern at that particular meal, and we may have been getting more attention as part of the tour.

At busy times of year cars are parked pretty far. Later-arrivals at Xmas week were across the street, in fact. The trams to get you to front are faster than Diz World if you park far away, IMO. I would not buy pref parking.... that being said, I get it as a Plat pass holder and LOVE being so close. You do get VERY close to main gate.

I ride everything in Happy Har with my 3 year old (and some with my 6 month old). I am 6 f 3 inches. All are fun and I fit in all, but the rotating jellies do have very little leg room for me! You can't go down the three slides that are attached to nets. 50 inches and under or something like that.

We are planning on going to Seaworld on Friday Feb 4th. I will try to be there close to park opening so it sounds like the preferred parking wouldnt be worth it.

I am trying to book the family tour online but there isnt anything posted for those dates yet. I think that one starts earlier in the day so we want to get there early.

1. As other posters say, it depends. If you are there early, don't pay it. If you are there late (late afternoon) don't pay it. If you are getting there 10-2, it is probably worth it.

3. It is good, and you will enjoy it if you and your daughter like looking at sharks.

If I remember correctly, you can only make reservations at the Sharks grill the day of your trip. There is a place you go when you get there in the morning to get on the list.

I hope someone that has done this can confirm though
