SeaWorld on Saturday after Thanksgiving 2013?

We'll be arriving in WDW on Black Friday, and we're planning on going to Sea World the next day (Saturday after Thanksgiving). It'll be me, DH, DD9 & DD6, and we've never been to Sea World before. We have Super Grover passes to Sesame Place, so I thought we'd use them to our advantage while we're down there.

I'm thinking Sea World will be crowded for the holiday weekend, but probably a little easier to navigate than the WDW parks. Am I correct, or is this just wishful thinking?!?

Looking for any tips or advice you can offer!

Thanks!

Seaworld is always less crowded than a Disney or Universal/IOA park. It will be busy but not to the point where you won't be able to do everything. You will also get to see Seaworld's Christmas celebration since they usually start a little before Thanksgiving. The Christmas celebration includes christmas themed shows, rides and attractions and is included with park admission.

You will be able to navigate easier at SW. Just be sure to get to shows early. SW says at least 45 mins before and trust me they start lining up early. The only time we saw a rush in crowds were it was shoulder to shoulder was when a show would end and a mass amount of people were coming out all at once.

Great - thank you for your feedback and tips! Now I have to start researching everything at Sea World to make our plans! (Good thing I have a little time before then, right?!?!)

Just another quick question -- is it safe to assume the Quick Queue passes would be worth it on the Saturday after Thanksgiving? (I'm assuming the answer is yes.)

We already have the Super Grover passes, so I think it won't "hurt" as much to spend the extra money on the Quick Queue. Minimizing the waits would be nice.

Can anyone provide feedback from a busy holiday weekend?

Thanks!
