Hi,From my opinion Seaworld is little bit expensive hotel.so you can choose another hotel for enjoying.Bahia hotel is best from my opinion because it is listed at just walking distance. We are travelling w/kid so we need something clean, safe and maybe a continental breakfast.

The Renaissance resort is directly across the street from SW. They do offer front of the line passes when you stay there. It is a beautiful hotel, with large rooms and a nice pool area. Look on their website or on SW website for more information on this hotel. They offer packages and discounted rates for certain times of the hear.

We have been to SeaWorld and its sister parks many times. We have found that there are two great hotels we like near SeaWorld. They do not give "VIP passes" or QuickQueue passes for staying at the nearby hotels unless there is a special package. The first being the Renaissance Hotel @ SeaWorld. It is across the street from SeaWorld. Therefore, in order to get to SeaWorld you simply need to exit the hotel, walk across the street, and through the parking lot and then you are there. The lobby is nice, rooms are above average, and they have a delicious breakfast restaurant. This restaurant ( I believe it is called Trailwinds) has a buffet as well as a menu. The food is great and it is reasonably priced. The pool and activites at the hotel are nothing special. However, they do have a Starbucks shop, gym, and I believe a spa. The second option being the Hilton Orlando. In order to get to SeaWorld, you would have to drive; however, depending on what you want it may be worth it. This hotel is much larger and nicer but it is still relatively inexpensive for a hotel in Orlando. The rooms are great as well as the service. It is a relatively new hotel. They too have a lovely breakfast restaurant- buffet and menu. This buffet is a little smaller than the one at the Renaissance but still good. However, this hotel has more activities. They have a basketball court, vollyball court, pool with a slide, lazy river, pool bar, huge state-of-the-art gym, and spa. In addition, they have a little market store with food and gelato. It depends on what you want. Don't forget to check for special offers. I hope this helps! Keep us posted on what you decide to do!

I have Hilton garden Inn booked for July with breakfast.
would buy quick queue as when i priced the package with the quick queue pass worked out a lot more expensive.
Hotel gets good reviews, and you are able to walk across Seaworld carpark to the entrance, so $15 saved on parking

This is not what I was told. I am booked at the Renaissance staying there in a few weeks and the hotel said you do get QuickQue passes if you book at their hotel, no package needed. Apparently this new plan went into place March 1, 2011. Have you stayed there recently and experienced otherwise?

I hope you are correct, but the way i read it on Seaworld site was you had to book the package.
The package would cost for my dates $760 + tax compared to what i paid for my room $250 incl tax tickets for 2 weeks unlimited entry to seaworld Busch and Aquatica $300 incl tax total $550.
free QQ would be nice though

We are staying at the Hilton Grand Vacations and as long as you stay you can get the Quick Que access you just have to go down to expedia desk first thing in the morning to do so. They are limited and first come first serve but I don't know of anyone being turned away yet :)

Only the all day dining deal promo is with the package, since we are doing DC they did not have package we could have booked.

We are in the same position as mjohnson-we have DC tickets,so we did not need the SW tickets that came with the pricey SW package. Any guest of HGVC Seaworld gets free transportation to SW,DC, and Aquatica, free Quick Queue privileges,10% off All Day Dining,Early Entry on certain selected days, and a few more things.:thumbsup2 I got a really good AAA rate on my room. The SW package did not fit our needs at all due to DC.

The last time that I have been to SeaWorld was recently but before March 2011.

The following is exactly what the SeaWorld Orlando website says:
Our On-Site hotels, the Official Hotels of SeaWorld, are all within walking distance of our parks.
And NEW in 2011, these properties offer their guests exclusive benefits* including:
Complimentary transportation to SeaWorld, Aquatica, Discovery Cove and Universal Orlando
Complimentary Quick Queue Unlimited (front-of-the-line access) at SeaWorld*
Early Entry to SeaWorld and Aquatica on select dates in peak season*
Exclusive access to the “SeaWorld Rescue Tour” at SeaWorld on Early Entry dates*
*Early Entry is available on designated days in Spring, Summer and Christmas holidays. Limited quantities, other restrictions apply.

Advanced reservation are required and can be booked only upon arrival at the Expedia Local Expert Guest Services Desk at our Official Hotels.

I hope this helps.
