Can anyone tell me the best way to get from WDW to Seaworld when you do not have your own vehicle? We would love to head over for a day, but I am wondering the best way to go, how much it will cost us (approximate), and how long is the ride? Thank you for any and all help!!

Mears would probably be the cheapest alternative, although I cannot guess what they would charge. Note that my experience with the shuttles to other theme parks is that you may not have as much time at the park as you would like....Sea World is not that far from WDW - interesection of I-4 and 528. Personally, we rented a car for three days in order to do our off-site trips. I've attached their (Mears) web page, but many links do not work.

I've never used it before, but the Orlando bus system has a route that goes between the TTC to Sea World. Though I don't believe that the bus stops right in front of Sea World. I think the stop is across the street or something. The fares are $1.50 one-way and it appears to take 21 minutes. Here's a link to the list of schedules. It's Route 50.

We took Mears twice to Sea World from CBR. They come to the resort and pick you up and drop you off in front of Sea World. I think the last time which was 2003 was $13.00 roundtrip per person. When you want to leave Sea World, you call them and schedule a time for pickup. We have always had good luck with Mears. I don't know the cost of Mears for 2005. It is a very short drive from Disney to Sea World.

We're going again the end of June and we're going to get a town car - the cost is $55.00 roundtrip. We're going to use Prestige.

You don't say where you are staying, however,
A cab from BWV was approx. $20.00 + gratuity o/w based on mileage for car load (4 people). They are usually waiting outside the DW resorts, if not, bell services can hail one. You are dropped off in SW parking lot and can leave at your convenience since cabs are lined up in the same locationat the end of the day waiting for their next fare. There also taxi vans available for 5 or more passengers...don't remember the charges, but wasn't much more than a simple cab.
