Seaworld around the holidays...

So tell me, how is it? I heard that it is spectacular around christmas time....I have to sell DH on it for december 2012....

I would like to spend a day/evening there.

It really is a beautiful, festive park. It wasn't packed either. We loved it!!!

Most beautiful decorations in Orlando (probably the "most" in terms of sheer amount per park square footage, as well). The Sea of Christmas Trees is amazing. The Wonderous Night show, new this year but very popular so bound to come back, was a lot of fun, too.

We thought it was beautiful. I wasn't really in the mood for Christmas until we went to Seaworld.

There are five different night time, christmas themed shows:
-O'Wonderous Night
-Clyde and Seamore Christmas something...(I forget the exact name)
-Shamu's Christmas Miracles
-an Ice Skating Show
-and a Special Fireworks show

Odds are, there will be even more decorations for Christmas next year than this past year; or that seems to be the trend. They also redo the Wild Arctic ride into The Polar Express (which is my FAVORITE part of all the decorations).

If you plan on going for the Christmas Decorations, make sure to go in the late afternoon and night time.

The decorations are amazing......all the oak trees everywhere with the lights were absolutely beautiful.

SW is a must do every December! And it gets better every year!

We're not big Sea World people. We live here and hadn't been in a year and a half. It ended up that DH and I had a day off together in November so we decided to go with our son since they give teachers free passes and annual passes are not expensive.

So now armed with our annual passes we decided to check out their Christmas offering. I don't think I can count how many times we went. We had so much fun! I even got one of my coworkers to go with me on a night that DH was working.

You'll love it! The Sea of Trees was pretty. There were lights all around. The shows were fun! We decided it was the best Christmas event...and believe me we hit them all!
