Seattle Hotels

Hey everyone, next summer my wife and I are sailing Alaska out of Seattle. I am having trouble picking a hotel for a few days before the trip to explore the city. Ideally I would like to stay close to pike market and catch a baseball game if the mariners are in town. Any hotel suggestions would help. Thanks!

It's been a few years but we enjoyed the Inn at the Market. It's very close to Pike Market as you would expect from the name.

We stayed at Marriot Waterfront, walked to ship Pier 66 for embarkation and is only 1.6 miles from field.

For a couple, you might consider the Ace Hotel in Belltown.

Hotel Max was a cheaper option for staying right in downtown. I could walk to the market and space needle from there.

I do not have a recommendation for a hotel near Pike Place Market, but I will say book the closest hotel you can find/afford.

I booked an Airbnb for our party of 15, and transportation was a hot freaking mess. Do NOT book with Creative Bus or Price 4 Limo; the service and the vehicles were absolutely lacking. I was trying to save a bit of cash, it was not worth the time lost driving around in Seattle.
