Seats Available if Late to Fantasmic

Is there any chance seats will still be available if I show up 10min late to watch Fantasmic? Crowd calendar on touring plans shows a 5/10 for HWS on that day.

We're thinking about heading over after JBJB.

Ignore crowd calendars, they're just wild guesses and have no real accuracy.

No, I wouldn't count on getting a seat. Doesn't mean you can't/won't, but I wouldn't expect it.

Fantasmic usually fills up pretty quick, as the above poster said, you may get one but it shouldn't be expected.

We were not able to get seats when we showed up right after Fantasmic started and it was not a crowded day. You might get lucky but I would not count on it.

It will close when full. We thought we'd be able to get seats showing up 30 minutes before the show, but were too late as it was already full.

i've noticed fantasmic crowds tend to vary and don't necessarily match the overall crowd level, especially with the new projection show at the chinese theatre starting at the same time. but it isn't a matter of if it'll fill up, it's a matter of how fast it'll fill up--arriving 10 minutes late, you almost definitely won't get seats. and it really wouldn't be a pleasant experience cutting in during the middle of the show, anyway... the star wars fireworks start at 9:30 so you might just want to catch those instead

Yup.
Many nights guests will hop over to DHS just to see Fantasmic!, so the DHS crowd level doesn't necessarily track the F! crowd.

Exactly, and I've seen them rope off the entrance once the show has started. Even on a low crowd day, the show is the nighttime finale, it will always be crowded.

Thanks everyone! I guess Fantasmic won't be in the stars for us this trip, although we've seen it before so not the end of the world. I was still really hoping to squeeze it in.

Unfortunately, they won't have star wars fireworks my particular day or else I would have loved to see those.

Honestly, we wouldn't mind standing room if they would let us in . But it sounds like they close the doors and I suspect 10min is not enough time to run from JBJB to this (8pm JBJB, 8:30 Fantasmic)

Depends on the time of year. I've never seen the auditorium more than 2/3 full when there in late August. We walk in close to show time and always get a seat with more available.

Correct. Since the best viewing Is in front of the Chinese Theater for JBJB, I think it would be hard to see both in one night.
